not surprised you got banned, I'm not blaming you, you should be unbanned for pointing it out to valve, but it's happened to me before, got stuck in a ceiling in cs:s and was banned for using an exploit.
Im not 100% sure, but i think the server needs 24+ players.
I suggest you try to bring a friend and do the same thing in same team. then it may work. For me when i succes, its mostly because of another player do the same.
Make sure to pick insta server and no delay at all when respawning.

@weegar Yeah. And he could get close to the sentry so it would shoot on him, while other players shoot the sentry.

Look for a ctf_2fort instant respawn server. There's quite a few.

This was on RussianGun server orange_x3.
I got banned from the server for this.
Fun as hell.
I hope tf team dont patch this :P.

You also need to be on a server with class limits.
They can't patch it, it's a server mod glitch.
