    >Coldplay Fan: Fuck Nickelback

    >Muse Fan: Fuck Nickelback

  • @g0dfly Smart people: Fuck Nickelback.

  • I will always have a special bond with other radiohead fans.

  • Radiohead fan: I really don't like the comparisons between Radiohead with Coldplay or Muse. They are pathetc.

Coldplay fan: I really don't like the comparisons between Radiohead with Coldplay or Muse. They are pathetc.

Muse fan: I really don't like the comparisons between Radiohead with Coldplay or Muse. They are pathetc.

Me: they are all different chrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissss'''tttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!

radiohead fan: fuck i love this shit.

muse fan: oehmg maet baellami is moar kewlur den thame newyorke ohkaigausie

  • PUKE on Obama!!!

  • Auditory weed.

  • WHAT THE FUCK MELANIE

  • Never listened to this without crying

  • SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE MUSIC

  • I wonder if the debate about what a fan is, or is not is of any actual importance to the band? Some folks get together and make some cool music and *poof* debate about what track a means if you like it is that not enough? I think if you like it, it is enough. The artist is happy with a good response. Those who were not part of the creation are nothing more then side line ideas about what is good or what is bad. The art will stand the test of time. If not so be it.

  • >radiohead fan = LOL COLDPLAY SUCKS THUMBS UP.

    >coldplay fan = Well, in my opinion they're both diverse bands, but oh well. Enjoy what you're saying. :)

  • @BanzaiBowser Your talking about coldplay here? ..... YOU SRS BRO?!

  • @BanzaiBowser Huh, in my experience it's usually been the Coldplay fans starting crap... then again, I watch a lot more Radiohead videos than Coldplay ones so I'm probably getting a selection bias. But it looks as though you're a Coldplay fan backhandedly insulting Radiohead fans, so you're not really helping your case... :)

  • @BanzaiBowser >radiohead fan (me) = Coldplay's music isn't so bad, it's better than most of the Pop and R&B shite out there, and i think they are often unfairly criticised for being heavily influenced by the amazing band that is Radiohead.

  • @skttterbrain Spot on reply.

Radiohead is better than Copldplay, but Coldplay are a pretty good band too.

There's Radiohead fans, and than there's annoying Radiohead fans.

  • "Fitter..."

  • LoL at the replies to me beneath. Are they butthurt or something? Because saying a band is great and liking a song clearly means I'm a hardcore fan instead of a casual one-off listener.

  • 2,37 onwards....spins me out in such a good way. Happy college days summed up.

  • Every fan base is pretentious though...

  • My life was the same without Radiohead, but now that I've found Radiohead I could never go back to not having Radiohead because it would never be the same.

  • Radiohead has changed my life..... I am forever grateful for that. Once you listen to their music, there is no going back. It means the world to me.

  • @MegaHawthorne I don't know if you agree with me, but sometimes Radiohead is a bit boring. Their songs are great, but they are too similar... =/

  • thnks momma

  • lol... sexy sadie

  • I can't found the words to describe it, i love it......

  • This song reminds me of stairway to heaven....a lot

  • I just discovered Radiohead, so I don't really know much, but this is a hell of a song.

  • @gracii92 You just discovered Radiohead? Scroll up to the YouTube search bar and type in "Radiohead Bloom Basement" and watch the first video. You're welcome :)

  • @gracii92 everytime you listen to a song, even the songs you don't like so much, keep telling yourself it's a good song and it will sound better and better with each listen =)

  • @legodatabase Haha, that's what I do!

  • oh sexy sadie... oops wrong video

  • This and Wu Tang forever are my favourite 90s albums.

  • the sound starting at 4:03 is hypnotizing as hell

  • Roman candle = best 90's album

  • @cbs121

XO was better and that wasn't even

  • Go Radiohead and Oasis!

  • skakeboarder gets a bottle up side his head

  • Comment removed

  • @weapon26 I have to agree with you...Oasis couldn't shine these guy's boots....not in the same league by a mile...Maybe if Noel sang more songs...Liam's voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me...

  • @clyde8her Oasis would be better if Liam just wasn't in the band at all, and was fulfilling his rightful destiny of working in a box factory or something.

  • Radiohead are a great band... such a shame they have possibly the most pretentious fans ever.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids It's actually Ironic how Thom is actually almost what i would consider to be unpretentious haha

  • @liligman the unpretentious way of saying this would be: "Ironically I think Thom is unpretentious haha"

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids Good I'm not alone in thinking this. Thank you sir

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids Truth.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids Says a radiohead fan setting himself aside from every other radiohead fan.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids Haha well you certainly are... ;D

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids

Especially the ones that are hypocrites.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids the same for the beatles' fans XD!. both are great bands, not exactly geniuses but yes good bands.

  • @progreadicto I strongly disagree. You did not just call the beatles "good" ignorant douche.

  • @skatemissoula no man, any people who said that the beatles is one of the greatest bands of all times is for two things: they are absolute ignorants of rock music or they misunderstand what music is about. there were several ROCK musicians that was far better than beatles, maybe the importance of the beatles is more related with POP music than with rock music, go and read a good book about rock history man. then we talk

  • @progreadicto If you just say the early beatles music then yes there is better bands. BUT, nothing is better then the beatles rubber soul - abbey road albums.

  • @robinzhooded no no, the first beatles was like, ehh backstreet boys or something like that, in rubber soul there's very awful or mediocre songs, a few little are good songs. man, there's music that is far more original, artistic, and dense than any beatles song. beatles only made pop music all their existence, maybe from revolver the pop music come with classical music arrangments but that's not change the things!,it's always pop. rock music is far from being 3 minute pop songs.

  • @progreadicto Have you even listened to any of their albums? You just sound like I did before I actually listened to the beatles and I thought they were just a 60s boy band, then I actually listened to their albums in their entirety and changed my mind. Go listen to tomorrow never knows. That is not a pop song... its way ahead of its time even for todays standards. Thats just one example, many others could be used as well.

  • @robinzhooded haha i was a beatles obssesed fan when i was 17. i had listened everything, including tomorrow never knows several times, is a great song but in 66 we have frank zappa's freak out with the return of monster magnet for example, 11 minutes of pure avantgarde, in 65 and 66 we had the two masterpieces of bob dylan: desolation row and sad eyed lady, both of them 10 minutes long. there were far better songs than tomorrow never knows.

  • @progreadicto Yes frank zappa and bob dylan are ahead of their time as well and geniuses, but to discredit the beatles is just incorrect. Return of the son of monster magnet is a cool avantgarde piece but its not better then what the beatles did around then. I have to be in the right mood to listen to it, probably my least favorite song off the Freak out! lp.

  • @robinzhooded well, at least you are not a beatles obssesed fan!. like i told you before man, i was a beatles fan, but then i noted that they only made pop songs (few exceptions)all their carrer, the DIFFERENCE is that this pop songs was extremly polished and arranged, in part due to martin's knowledges of clasical music. then i discovered that very songs by another artists (zappa, dylan, velevet underground, doors, etc) have a deep and trascendental meaning and only a few beatles song have it

  • @progreadicto

Sorry, but you just lost all credibility when you compared the Beatles to the Backstreet Boys.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids both were pop groups making pretty melodies and talking about girls and parties, obvious the beatles growth up since revolver, but backstreet boys never growth up, theres the difference, my comparision only is valid in their 62-65 period

  • @progreadicto

The Beatles were rock. Deal with it. Yeah, they weren't Guns N' Roses type rock, but if you listen to Revolution and tell me that's pop, YOU are the ignorant one. Their 'pop age' ended in 1965, and opinon-wise, they might not be the best, but as far as importance and legacy goes, they're unmatched.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids no no, for me rock isnt a genre based in the power of the guitar. im talking about FORMS of composition, the pop music is simple: melody and arragments, the beatles repeat that formula in all thier carrer. it doesent matter that the arrangments was based on clasical or avantgarde music its only arragments!. a rock is far from being only a simple melody with an arragment. frank zappa and the velvet underground for example, composed really rock masterpieces

  • @progreadicto

You know, there are many other rock bands than Zappa and the Velvet Underground. Also, just because a song is simple, doesn't make it any less worthy than a full blown arrangement/composition. Look at "Dark Was The Night" by Blind Willie Johnson.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids @progreadicto don't forget Videotape, lol. Just a piano and a bit of percussion. Done by the same band.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids obvious!, for example leonard cohen make simple songs in his first album, but is a masterpiece. the artistic meaning of this songs was very high.for example here comes the sun is almost a simple song but is so good as a day in the life.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids ROFL IK

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids what do you mean by pretentious fans. How are radiohead fans pretentious. I am confused. Thanks

  • @SamuelMoseleyIsFreak

Pretentious can mean thinking that someone is better, more intelligent etc than others. Some Radiohead fans that I've seen disregard every other band and think Radiohead are this deep band that are better than any other band. Not every fan is pretentious, just the ones I've come across.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids Yeah, i know what pretentious means but i have never come across any Radiohead fans that are disrespectful towards other bands. Interesting, thanks.

  • @SamuelMoseleyIsFreak by pretentious he means, that the fans only listen to creep and claim to be their biggest fans.. then when they try to listen to some of their material from OK comp and Kid A , hail to the thief etc.. "it's just not their thing"

  • @Johnnys1700 Pretentious means to imply, greater importance, talent, culture, etc., than is actually possessed.

whats annoying about alot of radiohead fans is the default rejection of any other band and refusal to believe that any band could come close to be better this is more egotism than pretentiousness though.

  • @Johnnys1700 No by pretentious he means radiohead fans think they that everyone else sux and that they know everything about "good" music

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids When you're a fan of all kind of great bands, great music, you just become naturally better than everyone.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids so fucking true. fucking awful pretentious fans and this song SUCKS.

  • @blackhorse099 HAAAAAAAAAAAA Nickelback fucker

  • @SineFractal Nickelback? Suck a dick fucker, I hate Nickelback. Nice false assumption. I like Radiohead a lot, it just so happens that most of their fans suck.

  • @blackhorse099 i'm not saying I disrespect your views... but this is the second time i've seen your negative comments on a video. Not trying to start anything... but maybe don't go on radiohead songs if you so clearly dislike them?

  • @EmergencyBagels i like Radiohead...

  • @blackhorse099 i mean the songs

  • @EmergencyBagels Hmmm....well if I like Radiohead, that must mean that I like their SONGS, considering they are a band. Chill the fuck out bossy tits.

  • @blackhorse099 i just think you might benefit from being a happy positive person :-)

  • @EmergencyBagels i'm not sure where you're getting the idea that you're entitled to tell me anything about myself. good day.

  • @blackhorse099 yes you're quite right. as a general rule though, everyone would benefit from being a happy positive person.

  • @EmergencyBagels Everyone would benefit from being self-aware, and being aware of what's going on around them, and what can happen.

  • This song is actually not that good. I'll take Oasis seven days a week and twice on Saturdays

  • @AintHome000 Oasis are a poor man's Monkees.

  • @AintHome000 You'd rather listen to shit? Well, by all means do. It's a free country.

  • @wafflestuffer2 I did actually... o-o Already had all the songs but wanted the album art to put in my room. It sits on my desk now.

  • Sorry but Karma Police is for the masses now. Lost forever to Mega Hits vol. I or whatever they want to attach it to. Everything else RH is Epic.

  • @SellTheBenefits Who cares? I'm glad more people have found them.

  • I go around disliking RAdiohead songs. Because of their blatant mediocrity

  • @PS2Marc Care to explain in depth? Why is Radiohead's music mediocre in your opinion?

  • @PS2Marc Obvious troll is obvious.

  • couldnt think of a clever comment to get a shit load of likes so ill just do what this is meant for....this songs so fucking good.

  • where have i heard this before..

  • The Great radiohead you cant it first thing in the morning.

  • unintentional art is still art

  • 7 people never see "my name is earl"!!!

  • This song is for the patient. It is introspective art in the musical form at its very best. I love it.

  • @Hillshafer From Wikipedia - Particularly irksome to the band were comparisons to progressive rock and "art rock", with Yorke saying "We write pop songs ... there was no intention of it being 'art'.

  • cry fir me

  • i love radiohead so much anything they make is terrific regardless of style whether its this or anything from kid a radiohead is just great

  • FUCK YOU BELANIE

  • this upload of the cd confirme what i have listen, the vinyl version of this album is just awesome XD i have discover this album in the beginin of the new millenium by the advice of a friend who was an hardcore fan of this band. but i recently rediscover this album on vinyl and it's just amazing how better it is.

  • Comment removed

  • Music is subjective therefore people will not like this album. Personally i respect that but i swear i cannot understand it in the sense that the skill and effort and emotion put into this transcends so much of the music that is out there.

  • 80,000 viewer! Phew for a minute there I almost lost myself...to the excitement

  • this whole album reminds me of the movie "stranger than fiction" with will ferrell for some reason..?

  • @codyahernek how does an amazing song remnd you of a terrible movie?

  • @FuttBucker667 i asked myself the same question.

  • Dextromethorphan.

  • best album of the last 25 years

  • For 4 minutes and 22 seconds, I lost myself.

  • @cdiSPAGHETTI BEST COMMENT EVER.

  • @cdiSPAGHETTI I lost myself for about 21 minutes and 50 seconds, because I just had to listen to it 5 times...

  • do caraleooo

  • @simon0 you don't want to know, trust me on this

  • I have 2 copies of this album...

...I don't recall buyin' either one...

  • @Tatoon Get ready to be pulled over by the Karma Police.

  • @TheKerplode

Oh, they were both bought, no doubt. I just don't remember when...

  • Kaaaarmaaaaa po-liceeee.

  • i thought it was" this is what you get when you mess with love"

  • I always thought he said "For a minute, I'll ask myself". I think that sounds better so I'll keep that.

  • for a minute there, i lost my cell =D

  • i change the lyrics,

'for a minute there i found myself.'

Cause sometimes i have moments of clarity amongst a lot of depression and confusion.

  • @Simon0

I love it when songs have lyrics that are more burried in the mix so it's different to everyone who listens to it. Until they go and look them up... fucking internet.

  • @Simon0 boo fucking hoo

  • fucking love it !!

  • This song is truly the sweetest of awesomesauce my ears have ever tasted.

  • Sexy Sadie

  • @Hianndryv What? Why did you said "Sexy Sadie" and people thumbed you up?

  • @FriedChickenofDeath6 The chord progression and the piano riff of Karma Police are based on the song "Sexy Sadie" by the Beatles. Look for it.

  • @Hianndryv Wow. Good to know. I love both songs and bands, but never realized that was the same chord progression :)

  • I have no clue about chord progressions etc., all I know is my ears like this song a hell of a lot.

  • This song is the easiest, along with let down, on the album, but who cares cos they're also among the best in the album. The line " Arrest this girl her hitler hairdo is making me feel ill" is so funny and so painful at the same time. Reminds me of the smiths girlfriend in coma not musically but lyrically. Both are brilliant pieces of music.

  • fucking great song

  • does anyone know what the album cover is supposed to be? it looks cool, but wtf is it?

  • @gumchewingdude Train/subway tracks, with a person standing on them, is what it looks like to me

  • As I listen to this, I can't help but notice the similar chord progressions to bands today, but then I realize, This was created in '97, Radiohead invented these!

  • @Chaossangel

I agree, but the chord progression in this is actually somewhat similar to 'Sexy Sadie' by the Beatles. Particularly in the "this is what you get" section.

  • @bfedorick Yes, that was very prominent. I was focusing on the portion previous to that, before any significant musical changes, however, and after the second repetition of that portion.

  • Comment removed

  • totally and utterly disagree, but each to their own

  • I f someone doubts which is the best album of 90's I don't

    P.S. oasis sucks

  • @gogolplex74 Why does every Radiohead fans hate Oasis so much? I love both of them!

  • @FriedChickenofDeath6 because they made all their fame about two stupid arguing brothers and noel is stupid john lennon wannabe

  • @gogolplex74 You're talking about Oasis mate, not Radiohead

  • Karma Police . Arrest This Man (L

  • this song really isnt all that depressing, soundgardens fell on black days is pretty depressing, radiohead can be depressing though...... just not this particular song........

  • i love this song no matter wat anyone says about it doesnt change the fact of how it makes me feel :) werd

  • i think if i had one more song to listen to before i died, it would be this one

  • @thrash303 excellent choice.

  • @Friday9951

There's always another track to listen to, and each time I do, I think, no THIS is my favorite song, how could I have forgotten?

  • Radiohead's best album...

It deserves to be part of the list of the 100 greatest albums of all-time...
