one of the most enduring memories that i will ever have is of listening to the radio in my car...in west palm beach and hearing this little girl crying....asking a dj to play this song because they just buried her grandfather. it was THEIR song and she wanted to hear it one more time. i parked and cryed my eyes out. i'm doing it right now writing this. it was so heartbreaking. i will never forget that.

Always loved this one since I first heard it (probably the day the album was released). I should probably take Phil's advice and not jump back in too soon. Kinda like if it's worth having, it's worth waiting for. I pulled a Todd Rundgren on this one and sequenced the whole song myself and did all the vocal tracks. I'll admit this though. I slowed down the tape for some of the harmonies..
