Dr. Zakir should have added 1 Corinthians 8:13, which is a reason even a pagan could understand. This is why Christians should not touch a drop of booze. You know you have weaker brothers who have addicitons that destroy their lives. If you are a Christian, you have more responsibility for your weaker brothers than a devout Jew following the Law of Moses. Also, with modern technology, the preservative value of booze is diminished anyway. Our generation has no excuses.

@technicalsm ... Many people have addictions for all sorts of things. However the purpose of the video was to expose the lies of Zakir Naik who taught that the bible does not permit the drinking of alcohol, in which he went as far as to twist the words of the scripture to prove his case ...

Drinking alcohol is harmless and God has permitted it in scripture, however over drinking and getting drunk is a sin.

This is the same as God allows us to eat, however Gluttony is a Sin.

In Genesis 19:33-36, the Bible states that Lot's daughters got their father to drink wine and they did lay with him; they had sex with their father. Both of Lot's daughters became pregnant by their father.

even the prophet didnt know they were his daughters!!(god forbid)

@SaintAhmad listen man Alcohol is abig problem in the western world do u think that jesus p.b.u.h alowed u to drink? and raping 128 rapes takes place aday in uk alone thats wot ur jesus thoughts u look at the jewis people they r not allowed to drink y cause u changed the book and put wot suits u, in bible it says that prophet nowah drunk had sex with his daughters. in short the bible u have is changed and not in pure form anymore, dont waist ur time the death is coming get the straith path.
