Can't you see that this is an evolution of Jazz, specifically the bebop era? Just because you can't understand something or identify with it doesn't mean it isn't art. Musical poetry is the highest form of lyrical expression, don't judge rappers based upon your experience with mainstream hip hop. There will always be crappy pop music in every genre.
