yes, its breaking all of the time and yes, catching it clean & glassy is not so easy. The Oregon Coast is a windy place!

It seems like it starts breaking around 12-14 ft regardless of other conditions, so I would say that it breaks pretty darn frequently. The wind is the real enemy, though.
