It lets me share to facebook but won't share or send the message to my email addresses ? I have email swithed on and have added the details? As i said facebook no worries but not to memails which is more important.

Sadly Facebook's draconian security policies prevented my MotionX GPS location post because I was signing in from an "unfamiliar location"! What if this was an emergency situation and I needed to share my exactly GPS coordinates immediately and ask for help!? There is currently no way to disable this besides logging in from a computer from home to authorize the 'foreign' location.

iPhone 3GS- Learning curve a bit steep lots of cool things like uploading photos to facebook but won't upload pics if satellites can't link in and can't work on photos from gallery but I am still learning and maybe these are planned upgrades. Also concerned about battery drain when app is open

The tutorial was somewhat helpful, but really could have done without the nauseating zooms and pans. More slow and steady movements and perhaps use of highlight arrows or similar would have been more useful than this video.

Yes, it uses the GPS chip and does not require the sim card. Without cellular signal (no sim card), it may take longer to acquire a satellite signal.

At the moment it works on the iPod touch second gen running the 3.0 Firmware. Not sure what happens in the future. Locations are very inaccurate however, since it can only rely on wifi locations, but will work offline
