My uncle was wounded on Iwo Jima F/2/26 5th Marine Division

My dad (his twin) was on Guadalcanal, Tarawa and was wounded on Saipan

C/1/6 2nd Marine Division.

Both are gone now.

this is the Marine corps, but for arlington cemetart, its the 3rd infantry - Old Guard - Honor Guard i think, my sis is in the Old Guard - Honorguard - Fife and Drum Corps so thats how i know

When we watch this video we must remember the men who made the ultimate sacrifice during WWII. The ones who did not make it back to see our final victory. The ones who fought in the sands of Algeria, the hills of Italy, the beaches at France, the towns in Germany, the ones that died in the air or at sea, the ones that took the Islands in Japan, all of them. We must remember.
