My Dad was on a few episodes as an extra he was with the Honolulu Fire Dept rescue 1. He has passed and I watch just to maybe see? LOL I have discovered netflix however....Thank you for the post.

@ryansistah74 Hawaii five-O was one of the greatest television show ever-Excellant scripts -direction-producers and writers back then took time and worked hard to give us the best programming possible-it wasn't all about money-television today is joke-Actors like Jack Lord will never be forgotten-he made you forget that Steve Mcgarrett was just a role and not a real person-Acting at it's best

So this was filmed in 1972? So, Dirk Benedict must have been in two places at once because: "In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. Hannibal couldn't get B.A. on the plane from LA to Honolulu, so he sent Captain "howling mad" Murdock instead.  He flew in his helecopter he assembled out of his briefcase, but crash landed after he ran out of fuel right before the runway.
