This presumes that the people who illeagally download, would, if not able to illeagally download, actually buy music. Which is flawed.

I buy all my music on CDs, and never download anything. I want quality.

However, I can see that the mass dissemination of music to larger audiences than ever before has made the live music scene much more popular, as too the purchasing of physical merchendise.

So, this is a very miopic commentary, very biased. I enjoyed it tho!
