  • this "cop" is a disgrace to the force, pulling a guy away from helping an accident victim, complete bastard

  • I think way more people respect fire fighters over law enforcement.. what you guys think?

  • The cop doesn't give a damn about the victim or anyone's safety. Steroid-rage-boy was on an ego trip, nothing more. Glad he was forced to cough up money to the firefighter.

  • fuckin cops and their powertrips!! that "officer" was just pissed cuz he didn't get his way... what a big baby... good for you fireman...

  • I think I would rather have a big red truck to protect my people the a chincy cop car on a busy highway. This cop was thinking one sided.

  • @MohammadX101 It doesn't matter how badly traffic gets backed up if there are four lanes on a highway and there is a major accident two of the lanes are supposed to be blocked off. And besides the officers vehicle wasn't providing any safety because it wasn't even near the vehicle.

  • I think in this case the officer was right. His patrol car with the camera on its dash was already providing the safe zone by blocking the right lane. firetruck blocking another lane was not providing anymore safety.

blocking a 2nd lane of a 3-lane highway was excessive and would have caused a massive backup. nothing against the paramedics but the officer made a good decision. an injury accident should not bring a highway to a near halt.

  • @MohammadX101 you obviously have no insight on how often emergency personnel are injured on high speed highways such as that one. A police cruiser provides little to no protection, as it is the same size as other vehicles on the road.Closing down the second lane will create a traffic jam which aids in the safety of all emergency personnel on the scene. The captain did everything right, the officer did everything wrong. There is no such thing as excessive when it comes to safety.

  • @proby340 the injured is on the shoulder lane. the officer had the right lane blocked. the fire truck did not add any more saftey to the scene. chance of a car slowing down and then make a sharp right turn into the scene is a very rare. besides, the officers are also concern about their own safety too and still thought the truck should move to lane 1. closing all lanes of the freeway in both directions for an injury that's on the shoulder is excessive even for saftey, for instance.

  • Wait until the cops house catches fire and nobody shows!

  • Fire Captain, you ROCK! Safety and medical treatment take priority over traffic speed.

  • That cop need to go back to the academy to bee retrain. The fire Capt was thinking about safety for all The emergency worker including The cop.

  • This officer made a big mistake....he has some $hit comming to him.... I mean, if you have an issue, deal with it among fire and police department management, not thru arresting firemen.

  • cops are power crazy dicks.

  • A.C.A.B.

  • FUCKING PIGS....seriously....

  • assholes

  • The engineer of that truck has the right to block the whole freeway if he feels the safety of his crew is at risk.

  • I just don't understand why do it then when a man needs help. You can just arrest him after,

  • As a former Fire Fighter and now a Police Officer, I have to say, this guy's an idiot. We're all on the same team dude..use some common sense.

  • The officer is a complete idiot! So, in the middle of the highway, would you have a fire truck actually block the road so the victim can get out ASAP or risk another car crashing into the EMS!?

  • They need to change the Physchological test for cops...seems like the one they have in place now is letting a bunch of loser ass dumbfucks get through.

  • @jalbm222 that's exactly right, but i think that's how they want it to be.

  • WOW! And police wonder why they get no respect.

  • Firefighters are the ONLY true heros! They only want to help people. You never hear of anyone from the fire departments stealing, harming people or having egos out of control!

How did this case come out?

  • @chafeboy

I think 100 is still high for a cop

  • Sadly a lot of cops have IQ's of 100...

  • just gos to show... cops are dicks

  • Polizziotto idiota! Veramente nulla da fare tutto il giorno?

  • Another power tripping cop.

  • Comment removed

  • did he win??

  • Dumb fucking pig gets priorities confused: Assist in protecting and saving a life v write a traffic violation!

  • you know most fire fighters are local volunteers? i have more respect for my local firefighters then i do for the police department

  • The Captain told the engineer to stage the engine there on purpose to protect the rescue crew from traffic getting too close, and for quick access to extrication tools. That police officer probably lost his badge, (or is now a parking meter attendant) over this ordeal for safety violations, and interfering with the rescue/EMS operation on top of that. This is an example of what happens when you get someone on a power trip with a gun, & a badge.

  • @GP9railfan Cops never lose their jobs, even when they murder people. They're simply suspended on full pay then shipped to a new town. Kinda similar to how the catholic church deals with priests who like kids.

  • Cops don't even do shit at car accidents anyways. Paramedics are there for medical assistance and firefighters are there for manpower. Cops just stand around saying "Hey, looks like a pretty bad car wreck huh?"

  • They should have a minimum education criteria to meet in order to become police officers.. 4 year college degree. That will weave out some of the idiots.. and there are many good kids with degrees who are working at Walmart that would die for the chance. If i were the fireman.. i would demand not the suspension.. but the resignation of the police officer who abused his power during the unjustly arrest.. followed up by a subsequent civil lawsuit.

  • @danmarino1970 There is, but it works the other way to what you think. They deliberately filter out smart people because they "won't be happy in such a medial job". There is a test and if you do too well you're not accepted.

  • @mryellow123 Definitely agree.

  • That cop needs to be given a permanent desk job. He is too hot-headed to have a job out in public. Poor firefighters. Very sick. If the person that needed medical attention suffered because of this powertripping geek cop, then the cop needs to be fired immediately. If the person died because of this geek cop, then he needs to be punished with jail time.

  • WTF?????????????????????????

  • NO RECOURSE TO THE LAW WHEN WE SEE CORRUPT OFFICERS ABUSING THE POWER OF THEIR UNIFORM. SUBHUMAN SCUM.

  • That was fucking stupid..!!

  • When a part time cop drove up on a fire scene and obstructed us from laying lines, I kicked and dented his squad car. He then started to argue with me while writing a ticket. I then informed him it's illegal to obstruct emergency personnel on scene and he would be prosecuted. After thinking about it he put on his yellow vest and took care of traffic like a good little pig.

He's just bitter, because Firefighters sleep in warm beds and cops sleep behind a wheel.

    Firefighters 1 Cops 0

  • @AmericanFenian Why would you immediately kick his squad car? You are no better than the "little pig" if your reaction to him blocking lines is to run up to kick his car. I highly doubt that you just ran up and kicked his car and then put the cop in his place when he tried to issue a ticket. You are full of it.

  • @Reqlis

Really? How many cops ya know? I went to school with plenty. Most were either bullies or those who were bullied. If their "authority" isn't taken serious/respected most will turn into cowards unless their buddies are around.

As for the bullshit ya pulled, Did the captain in the video back down?

B.T.W Some of the poorest students from my class later became cops. Any jack off can "walk" a beat. In reality good luck on getting them out of their car.

  • @Reqlis

It's simple, I go to court and pick a jury trial. What's the chances of a jury convicting me of destruction of property after hearing testimony of a cop getting in the way of the lines. Keep in mind the people some of the people being called for jury duty know the family whose house burned down.

Most people don't care for police unless they need them. How many people dislike firefighters?

  • @AmericanFenian Yeah asshole kick cop cars paid for by YOUR tax dollars, that makes a lotta sense. You fuckhead little delinquent

  • It's funny because I always see commercials about cops dying because of something like this and here is a cop trying to put them all in danger. It's for your own safety you fucking tool!

  • wow what a douche

  • Captain Wilson should have been like "look, you're a *cop* is there any criminals here? NO" "Now leave and let us do our job!!!"

  • Piece of shit cop asshole. He was embarrassed so he threw the cuffs on the fireman hero to make himself feel better about not gettin his way. Bitch ass. Just like the USA using HAARP on Van Turkey 3 times to force the Turks to bring the hate on Syria. The bitch ass USA finally got Turkey to be the bitch on 11/15/11. Scumbags killed 700 Turks just to make Assad look like a criminal. Bitchez!

  • one can only hope the next accident the firefighter goes to is to the same cop needing help then seeing the firefighter leave with out helping his ass !

  • the irony about the quote at 1:25 is that an american never said that.. it was emiliano zapata.. a mexican, lol

  • I wish that cop got ran over by the fire truck....oh well....maybe next time...he'll be.

  • typical of an american cop.

  • “An illegal arrest is an assault and battery. The person so attempted to be restrained of his liberty has the same right to use force in defending himself as he would in repelling any other assault and battery.” (State v. Robinson, 145 ME. 77, 72 ATL. 260)

  • "Citizens may resist unlawful arrest to the point of taking an arresting officer's life if necessary.” Plummer v. State, 136 Ind. 306.

  • until your in a scene where someone skirted threw and hit the vehicles because someone dint block a lane or two you should shut your mouth and learn something. we block at minimum two lanes on i-20 because people dont pay attention , they are too busy doing the "hey ill look and not pay attention to the traffic or whats in front of me " this cop should be busted back to jailer or radio freaking idoit

  • Some cops are just fucken stupid, they think they run shit

  • cops are control freaks and do not have a clue hope this guy is picking litter up now and he is not a cop

  • Wow I nvr thought I'd see that

  • This is why people have no respect for police officers.............

  • @MrDoc73 why because one does one dumb thing and every one thinks they have a right to hate them mo thats bs , cool he did something dumb big deal grow up and get over it

  • FUCK THE POLICE !!!!

  • he's the one that failed out of fire school.

  • what a COCK hope he got fired

  • This fireman is placing lives at risk. He is blocking a high speed live lane to attend with what is a usual stupid whiplash accident. If someone strikes the fire truck for blocking the lane for no reason then you could have a fatal accident. You wouldnt be pleased to find out someone in your family struck the truck for a stupid reason like this. This captain should of been charged for obstructing an officer

  • @gerryland I disagree. A fire truck can be seen from far giving a driver enough time to move. The officer here has abused his authority and deserves to be reprimanded. The police can be too cuff happy at times. Removing the truck would have put the fireman AND the police at risk.

  • @gerryland Obviously ur not a firefighter like myself? Luckily for you we have a manditory training for GA cops here in Hinesville to understand WHY we block lanes with our big vehicles, Im sry if ur family ran into the back of a firetruck...shoulda been watchin the road. If ur mom was on that stretcher wouldn't u perfer a firetruck as a barrier instead of a little patrol car Because I can show u plenty of videos of why that wont cut it and the danger of not having a barrier...U need a class 2??

  • fuck cops!

  • Cops are assholes. Firefighters are the real heroes.

  • The firefighter in was about to fuck that cop up..

  • this stupid stuff only is taped in america

  • as a volunteer fire department fire chief for my community the fire department has jurisdiction over the police in a rescue situation. Police are not trained in the same way that fire and rescue personnel are trained, in many cases police have been known to cause more damage to victims in the way they react to rescue situations. Not saying they are wrong just trained differently, anyway i believe the fire captain is right and so did the courts i guess.

  • @bbiggjayy73 "...the fire department has jurisdiction over the police in a rescue situation. "

That makes sense. I guess that cop didn't get the memo.

  • Every1s sayin stupid cop

    but

    1. the 2nd lane didnt need to be blocked

    2. every1 would just start bitching how traffic gets backed 20 miles cuz sum hose dragger parked his fire truck in the middle of the highway

plus the shits already on the side of the road and the cop blocked off the lane next to it

  • @ScottySuicide State code in every state in the nation allows this fire captain to block lanes if he wants to block lanes. This cop was wayyyyyyyy in the wrong. He not only arrested someone for doing something perfectly legal, he arrested another public saftey official in the course of his duties performing a lawful act. So the cop not only broke the law, but he looks like a moron to other cops and firefighters.

  • fuckin stupid pricks on power trips wath a worthless piece of shit

  • Stupid C.O.P., gonna meet his quota tho'! I hope some one takes his gun/badge away. NAAh, they jsut slap his hands and tell him to keep up the good work!

  • im getting gang stalked the most difficult part is that they are breaking into my home and drugging me i just dont know how to stop it can anyone help

  • @huless I'm available for consultation. Send me a PM.

  • see now here in Florida thats when the cop loses his job.

  • this is what I call thugs in uniforms. they are bitter with their lives.

  • true that

  • Cops are taught that no one can ever challenge their authority. The idea is that they must maintain control over any situation for their own safety, but most cops have lost sight of this and simply believe they can never be challenged, right or wrong. It becomes a matter of ego over anything else. And they wonder why so many people hate them.

  • dumbass

  • That's so wrong !

  • fucking hate cops sometimes..

  • The cop wasn't even doing anything. The captains concerns were for the victums safety and his own crews safety. Wow.

  • That cop is a fucking douche bag, and should be FIRED. It's an absolute ABUSE of power...

  • It is a felony in my state to ‘interfere with the work of an emergency worker’ so how does this cop get away with it??? This is making me mad!!!

  • The motto in my city is ‘arrest them all let the judge sort it out.’ If I was the guy trapped in the car I would have let the police know how I felt about it!!!

  • Comment removed

  • lol ... now isn't this a perfect example of what happens when state-sanctioned paramilitary forces get out of control. The only way to stop this is to disarm and dissolve police forces everywhere and replace them with actual protectors of the people. Police are not there for us. They are there for their masters. They always have been and they always will be.

  • stupid fat cop !!!

  • I disagree the firetruck should of been MOVED!!

  • @MrBenavides0320 You're 12 years old, your opinion is invalid.

  • I've only ever seen 1 good cop....

  • Time and time again I learn police men are complete and total power hungry idiots

  • that was a low blow... there was injured people and it is obvious that they have to protect themselves and the victims... other thing - on the saying at the end, "I'd rather die on my feet than to live on my knees" it is better if you add the name to it of who it actually is from... "Es preferible morir de pie que vivir de rodillas" -Emiliano Zapata, Mexican Revolution 1910.

  • @EricRyanConstantine what are you talking about...as you can see...they only block the back of the area..not the side of the area making a secure box the, which is prone to be hit by other cars. I have seen a lot of videos that 2 police cars are not enough to block ..specially it is a highway. as you can see they are at the back of the area the side is vulnerable, that is why the best decision is to block the side. want to hit a fire truck? but many people like to hit a police car..that a fact

  • Highway is a very dangerous place... 2 cars are not enough to block the area. Firetruck is the best decision. want to hit a firetruck? NO! want to hit a police car? YES!!!!!

  • Bad decision, arresting a medical personnel in an emergency situation. Would you like to arrest the EMT if it is your relative in that accident ? hmmmm.

  • I have seen a lot of accident videos, that a police cars block the area which is not enough in a highway. For me the firefighter gives the best decision to secure the place. Safety first. the cops block only the back of the area, while the fire truck block the side, which is more prone to accident. nobody want to hit a firetruck, but many want to hit a police car...thats a fact...lolz

  • COPS SUCK,FIREFIGHTERS KICK ASS!

  • fucking idiots

  • FUCK THAT POLICE IN THE ASSHOLE !!

  • A.C.A.B.

  • fuck cops, firefighters all the way!!!!

  • Are you fucking kidding me? This cop is way out of line. Arresting an emergency responder before the accident victim is stabilized is just plain stupid! The officer should let them do their job a worry about directing traffic that will be caused by the fire engine. And yes, that is standard procedure for the fire truck to block traffic to protect the emergency responders from being hit by onlookers.

  • That's bullshit to the cop

  • @TvvinkleToes fuck u

  • Foot bubble of protection, a backboard or gourney is 6 to 7 feet long.

  • You gotta realize different cities and counties have different protocols. In our state, it is true that we really on police officers to take over traffic control, but we have every right to adjust scene safety. Police officers are not in charge of the scene, they are assisting the fire department, that's why they are dispatched after fire and ambulance. Having one lane blocked right next to the patients car is safe, but having a barrier besides the car and in the other lane provides another

  • Cops eventually develop a serious superiority complex where they are the boss of everything and all situations. You see cops while not engaged in any emergency drive through red lights, turn on No Turns, make U-Turns illegally, park in front of Fire Hydrants and No Parking Zones so they can get there food and my favorite, parked facing the wrong way on the opposite side of the street like their in Europe scanning peoples tags.

  • Typical worthless piece of shit cop.. If he had ANY intelligence he would never have been hired as a pig. They only hire the dumbest assholes available. Any "good" person with respect and morals would never want to be associated with these lowlife, scumbag criminals..

  • @MrSnitchkilla187 Nice handle, it explains as much if not more about you than your pathetic comment. You need therapy.

  • @MrSnitchkilla187 I'm a police officer, stop associating one dumb ass with a whole group of people. There are plenty of good officers out there. You've obviously had bad experiences with police, but the way i see it is if you don't do anything illegal, and you aren't an asshole to a police officer that you have an encounter with; they won't be mean to you. Respect is a two way street.

Now don't get me wrong, this guy is definitely an asshole.

  • @Asstasticplastic2 The issue is "public trust". People don't see the individual police officer or the individual fire fighter, its a brotherhood and a general assumption amongst all of us that we preform a service for the public. I personally have seen police officers overstep their boundaries. It sucks but yea, but you have to admit, the police service in the US has to improve its image. People generally see a police officer and get nervous... even if they are doing nothing wrong.

  • If there had been a subsequent accident on scene due to another careless driver, as happens all too often to police officers during traffic stops and makes for shocking videos on police shows, the firetruck being placed where it was would have undoubtedly saved lives. No passenger car or even light truck is going through a fire truck, which is the largest and most visible emergency vehicle you can get. It's a perfect barrier. It wouldn't have been needed had the police properly secured the scene

  • now the cop is a security in a wall-mart

  • anyone know what happened to this case?

  • @bigmike4758 The description reads that the firefighter was awarded $17,500 in damages for the arrest, take out 1/3 for legal costs and that's what went into his pocket.

  • At democrat ur a fag someones in danger there doing there job cops are fuckin idiots just like u

  • Fire fighters are heros..police are pigs that take advantage of their power...police are just fat out of shape homos who are afraid to join the military

  • Hitler's NAZIS at their finest

  • Someone set something on fire so the fireman can do something he is trained at

  • Fireman should worry about being a fireman not a cop too

  • I understand the firefighters intentions and the cop should have too. But the Fire Fighter is not a traffic cop. Perhaps discussing with the cop first would have been the proper thing to do. The Firefighter was right yet wrong. So was the cop.

  • @democratichypocrit

More along the lines of the Firefighter was interested in safety while the cop was interested in making sure everyone knew he was the boss.

  • @CSATexan perhaps, but I didnt see the cop trying to perform CPR either. A bit of explanation by the fire fighter to the cop before the firefighter decided to be traffic cop, firefighter, Nurse, doctor and god all in one sitting? Leave the traffic duties to the cop and the firefighting duties to the fire fighter.

Using Safety as an excuse is a cop out. The cop has the final say on the highway, not a firefighter.

  • @democratichypocrit

    What I do see is

the cop preventing the firefighter from rendering aid

the cop failing to direct traffic

the cop failing to do anything to control the scene.

  • @CSATexan And u forgot 2 add the firetruck blocking another lane causing a high traffic situation to bottle neck up and can create an even bigger situation. What is behind the firetruck? You dont know. You are reacting on half a story. Firemen should do their job, not a cops. The Fireman stopped doing his job to try and tell the cop how to do his, or did you miss that? Meanwhile the injured is not being taking care of. THATS HOW I SEE IT. lol. i AM SURE YOU MISSED THAT ONE

  • @democratichypocrit

That was the reason he put the truck there, to block the lane next to where he was standing.

Why are you siding with the cop on this when it is clear that he was in the wrong. At the most he should have just given the fire truck a ticket.

  • @CSATexan But the outside lane is already blocked by the cop car. The view we were watching was from the cop car. The cop is in charge of the incident not the fireman. All the fire truck did was form another bottlenect in the road. He created a hazard. Thats why traffic cops are traffic cops and fireman are not they are fireman

  • @democratichypocrit

The Lane in which he was standing was blocked. The fireman wanted the lane next to him blocked. While the cop might have thought it was ok. The fireman didn't think it was was safe and had the truck block that lane.

This is at best a misdemeanor traffic offense. Which was NOT committed by the man that was arrested. NOTE the driver didn't go to Jail.

  • @CSATexan The driver shouldnt go to Jail. He should get a ticket though. The other Fireman went to Jail for trying to do someone elses job and causing more mayhem. What a bunch of idiots.

  • @democratichypocrit

Actually he was doing his Job and help the man that was hurt. It was the cop that prevented that from happening

  • @CSATexan He wasnt doing his job when he wanted to be a traffic cop. The fireman was taken to jail and he deserved it. Whether they pressed charges or not is irrelevant. He was in the wrong.

If something in the traffice would have resulted in an accident because of the firetruck you would have said the cop wasnt doing his job. LOL.

  • @democratichypocrit

If anything would have happened to the fireman he wouldn't have anyone to complain to, he would have been dead. Nor did he deserve to be taken to jail since he wasn't the one that drove the truck.

And of course charges weren't pressed the fireman didn't do anything wrong.

  • @SuperRenko1 Shut the fuck up, you third world piece of shit.

  • Saying "dumb cop" is like saying feathered chicken, kinda obvious.

  • firefighter ON THE RIGHT!

  • @SuperRenko1 Next time you enter our Great Nation. Dont jump the fence, try entering the right way. By the way DONT LIKE IT HERE - STAY THE FUCK OUT

  • @SuperRenko1 Dont say anything, your worthless as your words. WTF is a SuperRenko = dip shit

  • @SuperRenko1 Yes, i am an American. You must be a piece of shit, poor excuse of being a human being. So go crawl back under the rock you seeped out of. nuff said

  • @SuperRenko1 Yes you cant talk dick head, your mouth is full of shit. Worthless piece of excuse of a human being.

  • What a fucking dooshbag!

  • Wow before the firetruck pulled up I was thinking...someone is going to get ran over with all those cars rolling by at 60mph. I agree the firetruck was needed at that spot to ensure their safety while on the highway there. That cop was on a power trip.

  • This is why police get a bad rap - by idiots like this one who make all the others look bad. I hope he was fired and fined too.

  • stupid american, that's the way to go , arrest your fellow worker .. haha

  • @SuperRenko1 your an idiot. First of all you don't understand our job as law enforcement

When your told to do something you do it. But then again if your a foreigner your stupid. Proud to an America.

  • @SuperRenko1 What a dumb ass comment. What does his family has to with his actions. Before you make a comment, look in the mirror shit face.

  • Only in america

  • Easy solution to prevent this from ever happening again. A 15 second class given to cops on how fire trucks park in order to protect the rescue workers.

  • I can't disagree with the police officers actions 100 pct. I do 50 pct however; because the police officer was wanting to get the rig moved for the PUBLIC SAFETY not to align the vehicles to look pretty. If anything I would like to see more of these guys out there because there should be no prejudice as to who can or can't get arrested. The fire fighter and officer were both in the wrong in the sense that they are government workers and should have communicated a bit more.

  • @califa213239 Yeah, notice how we don't get the police officer's story on this. Why did he want the truck moved? Was it a safety hazard for some other reason (constricting the busy road way an additional lane, etc)?

Also, the fire captain had no idea what the circumstances of the incident were upon arrival. Perhaps there was additional criminal components to it, or other reasons why the cop didn't want firemen all over the scene. We get one side of what is a complex dynamic situation.

  • lol, the fire fighters aka true heroes will have our backs if a revoluting starts and yes these guys know how to start fires too

  • Stupid Pig!!!

  • @rollinondempills Yeah? What if there was a shooting in conjunction with the incident, and the truck rolled over the shell casings that would have been used as evidence? Or if the additional constriction of the roadway led to an additional collision?

It's a one-sided story and the cop may have had a very good reason for not wanting the truck there. We just don't know.

  • hahah another cop taking the wrong meds!!

  • You know why good created Fire Fighters? So Policement could have heroes too!!!

  • what a tard.

  • The cop isn't in the right job. He doesn't know how to react in serious situations and therefore reacts wrongly. He was probably remembering training which taught that police are the control authority and so when his control was denied, reacted badly. Maybe, what do I know

  • pigs :P

  • WTF?!?!? is that cop insane? does he realize were he is and that firetruck protects the patient and EMT´s.

not onlny that it protects him that stupid fucker
