I have been a fan of Ace Combat since AC4, I own AC4,AC5,AC-Zero and I went out and got a 360 for the sole purpose of AC6...yes I am THAT addicted to this game... When I heard about this game AND that it would be on the PS3 "I think Bandai made a huge mistake by backstabbing us with AC6" I went NUTS I think it’s going to be one of the best AC games ever, my only disappointment is that it’s not going to be taking place in the fictional world of Ace Combat and its going to feature real countries

@HPAVELOW53 yup dogfighting is like a video game hehe based from my experiences from Vietnam, except there's no reset button., plus its difficult to get a kill especially with guns and in a video game you wont experience the g-force while doing tight turns. I've played my sons acecombat on his PS2 and i have to say its really an easy game :D

Both AC 4 and 5 feature some of the most tedious, boring, and uninspired voice acting and cutscenes and dialog in videogame history. It's shockingly inept. Why even attempt to tell a story when your story telling method lacks ANY enthusiasm whatsoever. It's just terribly uninteresting stuff, enough to ruin what might otherwise be a decent yarn.

Anyone know if you can still do full maneuvers or are we stuck with basically the "Novice" Flying type in the other ace combat games. It will be slightly dissapointing if this game becomes basically a third person shooter rather than a flight sim. I've liked the series for a long time, but the trailer makes me uneasy.

A lot of other games do that and I sincerely hope that it does not develop a stronger arcade feel than it already has. I liked AC0, but the arcade feel was almost pushing my limits. @MrTestMusic I hear the game itself will still fly as previous Ace Combat games. However the CRA (Close Range Assault) will be feature where you can engage close air combat. A quick time button will pop up when you get in range (if you choose to engage CRA) and you pretty much dogfight like the old days where you have to keep your enemy within this circle. They released a new trailer recently called "Ace Combat Assault Horizon Close Range Assault".
