What did Walt have to make the Midnight Chase scene so NIGHTMARISH? Very terrifying and unpleasant music and dark palace guards. It frightened me as a kid. The Rogers and Hammerstein's version is not scary at all. In all three televison versions all she does in run away and the magic expires when runs out the door. The music is not bad to listen to either. Disney on Ice and Disney Live Three Classics Tales version of the midnight scene are not scary either.
