I'm a female hispanic with many mexican friends. We see the police all the time and they never give us a problem. I've found when you are respectful to them they are respectful back. Imagine that! There's always going to be some bad because they're just people too. Hopefully the bad get removed. All you fools behave your dumbasses and you won't be having negative encounters with the police.

The PD here in GJ have for a long time been able to act with no accountability. Latinos, poor people, and activists have long known that the police have grudges they settle with force or through the courts.

Recent arrests and firings of two GJPD officers one for beating a woman and another for raping a woman, is just the tip of the iceberg.

Demand citizen oversight and public hearings.
