for everyone commenting and pretending they know what is going to happen, did you even bother reading the comics? THERE IS NO WAY VENOM CAN BE THE VILLAIN. VENOM IS NOT VENOM WITHOUT THE SYMBIOT... which Spidey wears throughout the entire film until the end. BESIDES theres no way they would CRAM a caracter important as Venom in a film with two other villains. That bell-tower scene is HISTORIC in Marvel. it gives birth to Venom. its setting up the next chapter.

He wont be, Venom isnt a villain its a symbiote. It isn't Venom until it merged with Eddie Brock. Pete gets it first which makes him evil n when he gets rid of it Eddie finds it and merges with it creating Venom. This happens in secret wars #8 and venom isn't seen until the last 2 pages when Eddie stumbles across it...he looks around and then chomps at the frame...just like the trailer and then that's the end. It'll be a cliffhanger like when Harry found his father's green goblin outfit

You see people dont relize that the movies try to recreate the comics(badly i must say) and this movie is acutually a series of comics put togather. Theres a prototype of the venom action figure and it looks like the venom in the comics except for two things: Hes not as bulky but is still more muscular than spidey and his webbing is all grey and no white, but still has the elongated spider legs in the chestpiece. Other than this, he looks as good as any fan expects him to look.
