  • what parts do you break? do you strip any diffs?

  • can you put those shocks on a micro t or dt

  • @cooperDG123 Yes--the shocks are the same.

  • Did you get the quick programming card with this? If so how do you use that?

  • @hondafan25 I did get the quick programming card--It's been a long time since I've used it, but I just followed the instructions that came with it. Be sure to set it to the correct battery--if it's wrong, it can damage the lipos.

  • @hondafan25 turn the esc off being pluged in use the jumpers turn on wait for one flash red then solid red turn esc off . your setting is saved

  • How much did all that cost?

  • @hondafan25 I'm not sure--$400 + including the transmitter, I think, which will be good with all kinds of other rigs. I had to get a few repairs too, but nothing terribly expensive.

  • what typ of bird do u have

  • @Mr112Coolkid Those were parakeets :) (Not mine, though.)

  • @MMIVcomp what is the differences between the 8750KV brushless and the 10250KV brushless motors please respond back looking to convert mine :()

  • @rcmania13 The difference is that the 10250 Kv motor spins 17% faster using the same voltage (but it will draw more amps and use up the battery faster to do it). So on the 2S lipo, for example, the 8750 Kv motor will spin at 64,750 RPM and the 10250 Kv motor will spin at 78,850 RPM.

  • @MMIVcomp thanks a lot

  • @MMIVcomp I'm just wondering, did you buy those tie rods or did you make them?Mine broke and i'm looking for a stronger alternative. (the tie rods are the little things above the turnbuckles on the second picture that you showed of the turnbuckes.)

  • @mgtrapps I bought the tie rods from 3racing.com. Several companies were making them, though. They're the same as the Micro-T tie rods.

  • @rcmania13 Sorry--typo--the 10250 Kv motor will spin at 75,850 RPM on the 7.4 V 2S lipo.

  • Wow dude, you have made some amazing videos for the micro highroller. I used to have one (along with 2 micro t's and a micro crawler), but since so many things went wrong I just got out of the micro scene. Your vids definitely make me want to get into the micros again...

  • @purplelambo95 Thanks for your comments--It seems I've gotten pretty lucky with my MHR parts--so far, only one problem has arisen, which was a badly machined oil-filled shock. They sent me a new set for free. (I did have a problem with the 5-in-1 on my Blade mSR heli, which they also replaced.) I love the micros--you don't need that much space, and the replacement parts are cheap.

  • my losi micro is completly alumnin and goas 30 mph it can kick ur ass

  • @ninga123if If yours only goes 30, you must not have watched the whole video. More importantly, at high speed and at this scale, getting the alignment right is cruial for handling--much more so than the added rigidity of aluminium parts.

  • @ninga123if 30mph isn't that impressive these days, even on a micro. Check some vids where they go 50+

  • @MrFresh3030 True. Just using Losi parts (the 3S lipo), you could, in theory, get the Micro HR up over 50. Finding a place that's flat enough and long enough to do that is a challenge, though, as the smallest dip or bump will send it flying.

  • I love the approach you took to this video, kinda like the "saga of a micro high roller". I subbed

  • @TinkieWinkieBag Thank you :)

  • Hey Nice video. Will you please make a list of all the specialty parts you used.

  • @jako5756 10250Kv motor, SR3500 micro receiver, Losi micro brushless ESC, Micro HR wheelie bar, Losi micro oil-filled shocks with 15 wt oil, 3racing adjustable turnbuckles, aluminium rear pivot block, ball bearings, and 2S lipo. You can see it all in my brushless setup video.

  • @MMIVcomp Best video of R/c cars ive seen on youtube.. i myself have a high roller and a Micro T.. love them to death first upgrade was Micro T with the Lipo and brushless. High roller now has oil shocks nice man very impressed with your time and upgrades

  • @ownworstenimy Thank you--I've had a lot of fun driving and trying to film these things--the Casio high-speed video camera I finally got helps a lot (and is great for all kinds of other things too--too bad they stopped making it), but I didn't have it when I made this particular video. I'll have to talk my wife into shooting enough footage for a sequel.

  • How Much Is The Brushless Motor??

  • @luisarango1000 I paid $28 for it.

  • is it brushless?

  • very nice!!

  • @danymato Thank you!

  • how much did u put into your micro high roller plz reply :D

  • @rcmania13 I think it was around $500, including some repairs. When it happens over a long time, it doesn't seem like as much. :)

  • Very nice job on the video. It's entertaining to watch and your music is great too. What are those ramps made out of in the beginning? you're getting a lot of distance out of that stock car.

  • @sideburn Thank you--I built the ramps out of books and loose sheets of scratch paper, mostly--if you feather the sheets of paper out, you can really smooth out the contact with the ground.

  • Comment removed

  • What size are the turnbuckles? My losi micro highroller has everything exept that.

  • @eric101898 They're the turnbuckles for the Micro-T--I got them from Hong Kong (3racing I think).

  • 2:06 wow you drunk alot... how much money have you put into this? you should put some micro raminator wheels on it as well!

  • @truggyRCrunway I'm not sure how much I've spent--the receiver and transmitter were $160 on ebay, if I remember correctly, which saved me a couple hundred. The rest of it doesn't seem terribly expensive when you buy it piece by piece.

  • awesome vid about how much did you put into the car?

  • wow that is beast man. do you still have it

  • cool beans XD you like music and RCs too!

  • @RCcarsNtrucks Haha yes--gotta love youtube--good place to use both.

  • @MMIVcomp Mhm! XD

  • how much did all that cost?

  • LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!thanks!!

  • @demadema79 Thank you :)

  • wow thats awesome im planning to get one they are awesome. do you know how mutch all of those upgrades where in the end???

  • Did you paint the body?

  • You can get a 3 cell lipo battery from hobby king for really cheap

  • Now Im going to buy this micro truck I was thinking about it before but I have to have it now ha thanks great vid

  • Lovely done my compliments

  • @Samadhijunkie Thank you :)

  • @MMIVcomp can you get a lipo on it when its all stock?

  • @RunnerLasting12 technically yes, but the stock motor has ridiculous amounts of torque and it may strip all the gears. I had it set up that way for a bit and it was a lot of fun. I've read on the Losi blog that it can damage the stock controller, but the Horizon Hobby people say it was designed to handle the lipo.

  • Wow, great videos on the MHR This has convinced me to call my lhs and order one with the brushless motor and wheelie bar.

  • what the original music?

  • @FOVA96 I wrote all the music (except for the intro) and the playback is just what's available from Finale (a music dictation program). I wrote out most of this music on Finale 2003, but Finale 2010 is doing the playback and some of the parts got garbled (especially the percussion).

  • Great video! You made me buy a Micro HR for myselft! I've responded with a video of mine containing questions about a problem. I'd very much appreciate it if you'd respond me back. I'll delete the video after you response. Thanks...

  • @ktorpil Thank you for you kind words concerning the video. I've been through quite a few spindles myself--the replacement part is in the LOSB1502 packet for $4.50 US. There aren't any aluminium replacement spindles, unfortunately. The one you were looking at fits the Micro-T and the Micro Raminator. Your best bet if you want to use the aluminium spindles with the Micro HR to get it is to get Micro Raminator tires. The advantage is that you can then use Micro-T threaded axles.

  • @MMIVcomp Thank you for your attention. I'm ordering LOSB1502 now. I wanted to order the micro raminator tyres for the HR since I've ordered rammunition tyres for my 1/18 Atom XT inspired after the proline mashers that I've ordered for my 1/8 Savage :) Is the difference in spindles related to the wheels? I don't like the look of those orange wheels. Can I order just the tyres? And if I did, do you know a place I can order 1/36 rims from? All I ever saw was rims that came with pre-glued tyres.

  • @ktorpil The Raminator tires only come pre-glued. I've seen people paint them to get rid of the orange. The Raminator and Micro-T use the same spindles and axles--the Micro HR uses its own unique design for both.

  • @ktorpil I think you will like the turnbuckle set. It takes some adjusting to get the truck handling right, but it's far superior to the stock parts. I got tired of the little screws coming out of the spindles so I glued them in with tire glue (a kind of super glue) after I knew exactly where I wanted them. (If you screw them in too tightly, the suspension travel will be limited, and if you don't screw them in enough, the connection will be weak and the handling will be affected a little.)

  • Is it 4wd???

  • @Mo2Ns3TeR No, sadly--it would be fun (but tedious) to convert it. (Several people have--there are a few 4wd Micro Ts on youtube.)

  • Hey men im going to buy it but it really is a good micro r/c?? the men who is selling it to me tells me that it can go like 20-25mph its that real??

  • @danielprada123456 This really is a good truck--I like mine a lot and I've gotten it up over 35 mph. Stock it will easily do 14, which is still pretty fast. I haven't tried driving the Losi Micro SCT--you might want to check into it if you're going to get one. It's not as fast, but the advantage is that it's four-wheel drive.

  • Hey men Im Going to Buy one but i dont know if is a good r/c what do you think? the guy who is selling it tells me that it can got more that 20mhp??

  • Ok tx , you think its good the buy everithing ? .. ;) thx

  • @Highroller188 I highly recommend the ball bearings, and I like the brushless system a lot. I haven't used the 27MHz system, but the one I have is a great addition to the truck.

  • ( My MHR is almost full aluminium :) )

    Greets from Belgium !

  • @Highroller188 Nice :) I think the extra torque from the brushed motor tears up gears pretty quickly, especially if you're running on the 2S lipo. I haven't had to get a new diff for a long time, and I'm using the 10250Kv motor. Properly adjusting all the gears helps a lot--just a tiny bit of misalignment can chew through gears very quickly at this scale. I like the ball bearings a lot--they really are smoother.

  • Did you ever burnd out your diff ? ..

My MHR does every month .. I was thinking of a 3r gearbox and wheel ball bearings .. (And some extra stuff ; BB2 , Lipo , Front bumper , ) Plsse give me your opinion ! Sorry for bad english .. Good vid !

  • That was a well done video.

  • @BassSniperTV

Ok now with my right account for my RC stuff. That was a well done video...

  • @goastdoggg Thank you--I'm looking forward to putting up good high-speed videos because I just got a high-speed camera for christmas (it's a Casio, but it takes pretty cool high-speed video). I'm short one cinematographer at the moment, though. These little buggers are so small and fast that it makes filming them quite the challenge.

  • is this truck waterproof stock? if not, what do i need to do? thanks for the video!

  • @hokieman97 It's not waterproof--I'm not sure if you can make it waterproof very reliably. I dunked it in a deep puddle once and pulled it all apart, took all the shrink-wrap off of everything, and left it to dry for a couple days. When I put it back together it was as good as new.

  • very nice vid :D

  • great vid

  • Very very good and Cool Video!!! I like it very much!

Greets from a German MHR Driver,

    SparrowhawkXT

  • @SparrowhawkXT Thank you--glad you enjoyed it.

  • Thanks for the sub

  • @Rccar23 No problem--thank you.

  • Are all the upgrades from Losi?

  • The best oil-filled shocks I've had were from Losi (the ones shown in the video had a manufacturing flaw, but they sent me new ones for free). The purple oil-filled shocks weren't from Losi, and didn't work like oil-filled shocks at all. All the electronics were from Losi or Horizon Hobby (same company). The adustable turnbuckles were from 3racing--highly recommended (but touchy--it can take a while to get them adjusted well). The transmitter and receiver are epensive--these are from ebay.

  • So the Losi Xceleron has lights? COOL! =D
