Formed in 1967, they managed to encompass the commercial side of the music in pleasant, "The Plastic Cloud" were an Ontario-based Folk-Rock quartet, consisting of "Brian Madill" (bass guitar), "Don Brewer" (lead vocals, 12-string guitar), "Mike Cadieux" (guitar), and "Randy Umphrey" (drums).
I enjoyed the track. Do you know what city it was recorded?
Where did you find the song? Is it on an unlabeled record? I hear the crackle..
was it acetate? I LOVE the vibes in it and the simple beat. The song reminds me of Creams big hit, without the 3 part harmony. It does not resemble the plastic cloud whatsoever..? I'll ask some of the people here in the west if they have any ideas..thanks for posting the rare song. The voice sounds a bit like one of the guys that sings on those ARC comps
Hey TOKENHIPPIE54. I have done some research into "The Plastic Cloud" and have confirmed they only ever had ONE album. I was able to listen to samples from the album on iTunes and none of the songs sounded like this one. So I am not sure if this one is by The Plastic Cloud.
Unless, as patcharisma alluded to, it could have been a bootleg recording or something like that.
And very unfortunately I cannot seem to find out which band this song IS created by (if not The Plastic Cloud). Sorry!

Doesn't sound like Plastic Cloud; the singer has a more "bluesier' voice then the guy from that record. Good luck figuring out WHO it is.

@TOKENHIPPIE54 Hi, this is Mike Cadieux from Plastic Cloud. This is not us. That clears up your quest.
