  • I'll never forget hearing "Wish Someone Would Care" on the radio back in 1964. Ever since, Irma's been a household name with me. When I ordered her album, "Simply Grand" and played it, I was not disappointed in the least. She does an excellent reading of Randy Newman's "I Think It's Going To Rain", not to mention all the other gems on this recording. I recommend it very highly. Thank you, Ms. Thomas, for a lifetime of joy in your music!!
