First year MotoGP returning to Laguna Seca. The place was a zoo! First day of practice, first guy out was Shinya Nakano on the baddest sounding MC I've ever heard. Everyone seemed stunned. For me, I had no idea MotoGP bikes were un-corked! That Kawi had a huge megaphone off the lower right side of the bike. Twin-pluse 990cc 220+ hp firebreathing monster. Like having two V-twins side by side. It was euphoric. The only thing better would have been to ride it.

It´s sad that Kawasaki will not have a team in the MotoGP in 2009 =(
in 2008 was only badluck for that team.. it´s sad
