In addition, the name of "Alto Adige" was used by the fascists. It is an effrontery that today's Italy does not allow to call the province only South Tyrol. It's the same with the invented italian names of streets, cities, etc. Most of the communities of South Tyrol are almost only german speaking - so why using invented italian names?? Ok, there existed italian names for Bozen and Meran, but that was it! Italy hasn't changed much in the last few decades!

Bolzano/Bozen is a bigger, but nice and old city. The winearea with Kaltern/Caldaro is beautiful. The Val Garden/Grödental is very good for skiïng (Sella Ronda tour) but maybe to late in April. Non so se la cifra del 70% sul totale sia corretta, ma di certo sul totale dell'area UNESCO la percentuale è inferiore al 50%, che si tenga o non si tenga conto anche della buffer zone.

Poi, se Bolzano si sveglia e commissiona pubblicità capolavoro come quella qui sopra e il Veneto no... direi che forse il Veneto dovrebbe darsi una svegliata.
