im ashamed to say it but my heart is quite dark, full of hatred and sickness.

the moments when i listen to such beautiful music, or watch and dream beautiful stories... in these moments i am the one who i want to be.

everytimes I hear a hisaishi piece I can easily tell it's him, he has a very distinct touch... this composition reminds of Majou Takyuubin's theme of the seaside city and a combination of laputa.. what to say: IT IS EPIC.

Joe Hisaishi is master of film music. I mean Hans Zimmer and Alan Silvestri does great job, but Joe does personify his music and puts so much emotions in it and works on his composisions till they are pure perfection. If you take a look on the records from his concerts you get the picture...

I fully agree. I like Zimmer or Horner or Kanno or Uematsu and all the rest of the famous composers. But Hisaishi is the first guy who has ever made me actually tear up just from listening to the music alone. And not just music from the movies, but his original works as well.
