They fixed it in the later models they produced thats why it was where I expected it to be this time... Our s model is what has no sync....

I think when you order the car with Ford's Sync, they relocate the Aux audio/iPod jack into the center. The Frosted Glass Focus SE in the September 7, 2011 video seems to be equipped with Sync.

The Aux audio/iPod jack on the standard 2012 Focus SE is in the glovebox just like the old Mk2 Euro Focus (which was NOT sold in the US)

The appearance of the new Focus seems to have received either a 'love it' or 'hate it' response in Europe. The latter have shonky eyes, or their brain wiring is wrong because this new Focus is a stunner!!

Disappointed you didn't take it for a testdrive.

I found the aux input at the top of the glovebox but forgot to check this out. Cant wait until we get an automatic that I can test drive for a while. We have a manual that came in the other day that drove great.

The buttons on the gear lever is for manual shifting mode. This is kind of design is very rare. Most cars reside manual mode with the gears, or come with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.
