i have 36-54 mbps/s. But it is a USB internet adapter..

And you have over 200 mbps/s...

Good thing that i will get a new network card (with over 300 mbps) and open filber to the house for even faster internet

n sucks g is way better and if you are smart then you no its stupid to even buy wireless just wire your house up with cat 7a if you use wireless and have brodband you will not get the speed you need over wireless and will get interferince slowing you internet and kicking you from games and giveing lag if you play games online. now if you are just surfing the web then wifi is fine.

Still only getting 130-144mbps, but it might be the adapter that doesn't support 300mbps. Who knows. Very good tutorial, though.

for a netgear go to the router setup page and just change from 130 max to 300 max.

i was getting 130, and just changed it and getting good 270

Mbits is actually Megabits which is different from Megabytes. 300Mbits is actually about 37.5MB. That is all... Good video.

Hey: I used my ethernet as WLAN from my router, and after taking it out for a bit, I saw that my wireless speed went from 270-300Mbps to 54Mbps. I've done the 20/40Mhz thing...what gives? If it helps, I use a TrendNet TEW-633GR Router and a Trendnet TEW-623PI Wireless Adapter. Thanks!
