Not all of the asians make great food. Most of them dont even know that animals have feelings too. What about live fish or live snake? Eating dogs (killed cruelly, because they believe that the more you torture the animal, the tastier meat will be because of adrenaline) embrions or scorpion chips?
Isn't this just a Taiwanese version of Taebo? And it's not just Asians who are healthier. Outside US, Australia and UK who are heavy consumers of "Processed foods" are generally a lot healthier. It's not so much of Asian secret per say. Do moderate exercise and stay away from Junk food then you'll be healthy.

Thats incorrect. you may lose a little weight from not eating..but as soon as you go back ot eating you will gain the weight back. also lack of nutrition in the body can have adverse affects. anything from the metabolism shutting down..to even worse things depending on how long you go without eating a proper diet. 3 healthy balanced meals and 2 maybe 3 small healthy snacks should be sufficient enough to keep the metabolism and other fucntions working. and of course exercise.
Also..Ive tried that whole not eating thing..I would lose some weight 10 maybe 15 pounds..and then nothing.
But i must admit.i do not take my own advice...half the time i dont really pay attention to my hunger pangs until they get unbearable. and no..im not skinny by a long shot.

You can eat what you want IF YOU STOP when your body says it's full. Clean-your-plate, eat-because-it-is-meal-time, etc. are all what we were taught as children. We need to listen to our body and NOT eat when it says we aren't REALLY hungry. Boredom, anger, loneliness, etc. aren't reasons to eat.
