Brian Schweitzer is a good man, and he's been a great governor here in Montana. He is too humble, since he has also worked on international energy issues and speaks Arabic. Also, in political events here in Montana, he is invariably accompanied by his dog "Jag." Cool.

Until Hillary's speech everybody seemed to have their tails tucked. Turns out there was plenty of attacking the GOP it's just that MSNBC and CNN didnt bother to air it.
Actually, several minutes into it, CNN DID cut to the speech,(it's coverage of it is here on YouTube) and I'm glad that they did. He was amazing, and although I like Mark Warner (who was the keynote speaker), Schweitzer OWNED him. i almost thought he would own Hillary, but in the end, I'd say they tied. Each speech was awesome.

While Bill Schweitzer was on at the convention, the talking heads at MSNBC were complaining about the lack of 'red meat.' Oh, how they would have been fed, if they could have just shut their mouths and turned the cameras were it meant something. I flipped it over to C-span, who has blown all of the networks out of the water when it comes to covering the Democratic convention.

I agree with you regarding MSNBC. I quit watching their convention converage Monday evening and started watching CSPAN. MSNBC pundits have continuously talked over good and important speeches just so that they can hear themselves talk about the same thing over and over again.
I've been a bit disappointed with MSNBC overall, but I absolutely LOATHE Fox. Their "Fair and Balanced" means bringing out Dems (disgruntled Hillary supporters) and Neocons: Karl Rove. I haven't heard one good thing about the Dem Convention from FOX, just every opportunity to emit slime ...which is just what they do, I guess. And as for CNN? ...who cares. C-Span is the only one where we can formulate our own ideas about the convention. That's the "Free press."

This corn pone idiot -- is the guy who's helped Montana get a stable economy, begin developing and promoting alternative energy, given tax breaks to it's people -- not it's oil companies. The last time I checked Montana borders the Canadian border -- can't get much more north than that

Brian Schweitzer is a good man, and he's been a great governor here in Montana. He is too humble, since he has also worked on international energy issues and speaks Arabic. Also, in political events here in Montana, he is invariably accompanied by his dog "Jag." Cool.

Until Hillary's speech everybody seemed to have their tails tucked. Turns out there was plenty of attacking the GOP it's just that MSNBC and CNN didnt bother to air it.

Actually, several minutes into it, CNN DID cut to the speech,(it's coverage of it is here on YouTube) and I'm glad that they did. He was amazing, and although I like Mark Warner (who was the keynote speaker), Schweitzer OWNED him. i almost thought he would own Hillary, but in the end, I'd say they tied. Each speech was awesome.

this guy should be taking point on the sunday news circuit when it comes to Dem energy policy. We need someone with the balls to challenge all of the outright LYING going on about drilling. Newt Gingrich and Fox News whack-a-doo pundits are claiming that oil prices will DROP THROUGH THE FLOOR TOMORROW if we authorize drilling today. Our folks HAVENT CALLED BULLSHIT ! we argue the fine points and parse about on the specifics while desperate Americans cling to hope of the GOP/Oil Lobby lie.

While Bill Schweitzer was on at the convention, the talking heads at MSNBC were complaining about the lack of 'red meat.' Oh, how they would have been fed, if they could have just shut their mouths and turned the cameras were it meant something. I flipped it over to C-span, who has blown all of the networks out of the water when it comes to covering the Democratic convention.

I agree with you regarding MSNBC. I quit watching their convention converage Monday evening and started watching CSPAN. MSNBC pundits have continuously talked over good and important speeches just so that they can hear themselves talk about the same thing over and over again.

I've been a bit disappointed with MSNBC overall, but I absolutely LOATHE Fox. Their "Fair and Balanced" means bringing out Dems (disgruntled Hillary supporters) and Neocons: Karl Rove. I haven't heard one good thing about the Dem Convention from FOX, just every opportunity to emit slime ...which is just what they do, I guess. And as for CNN? ...who cares. C-Span is the only one where we can formulate our own ideas about the convention. That's the "Free press."

Schweitzer is a blue dog democrat. He is nothing like Obama who is really very liberal posing as a moderate to appeal to the masses. Whereas Schweitzer may make a decent politician, Obama would not.

best warm-up speech of the night. no thanks to NBC who talked over it while commenting about how he was rilin' up the crowd so well. they finally cut to it for like the last 10 whole seconds when old timer Brokaw finally demanded it. i'm recording CNBC w/o the talking heads from here on out.

Excuse me? I hope you meant small by population means. Because Montana takes up the 3rd largest amount of land in the lower 48, and is the 4th largest state of them all.... Alaska, Texas, California, then Montana. because when you're as great as Montana, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd don't matter, you just know you're great.
