  • I love looking in her eyes. She is so full of compassion. I can feel her frustration and yet her stubborness of continue effort in helping others 'to wake up'. She is so real and so aware of her own limitation, 'even Buddha cannot do it'. Personally, my humble opinion is that 'The Karma'. People are just like flowers. Flowers bloom at different time. With all these talks and reminders, she is planting the seed for 'awakening'. With right conditions, the 'awakening' will come. _(I)_ _(I)__(I)_

  • What is the music?

  • How is it possible to not agree about this?

  • AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET US FREE

  • others are just a projection of a reflective self. we are all one in nature. all of us are one and the same. if i am awake, then so is everyone else. they only choose to perceive things differently. they are awake. we all are. they just dont know it. they believe themselves to be slaves, but how can one be enslaved or indebted to themselves?

exactly. they cannot. freedom and slavery begin and end in the mind.

  • Well the Buddha did have a solution, remember the 4 NobleTruths? Now there's an updated version: The Work of Byron Katie: 4 Questions (and a turnaround). Many Buddhist have found it to be very useful.

  • @racerxtoday Exactly. Buddha´s not responsible for people not realizing & not following his path to Enlightment, Global Harmony & Happiness.

  • Bloody hell - thanks alot - jut of to slit my wrists...

  • There is no greed and aggression, only the THOUGHT of greed and aggression. Neither one are real. Love is the only reality. The rest (the delusion she speaks of), is all just a thought which can be released. "Be the change you wish to see in the world" means changing and HEALING the world by healing your perception (mind). The only way to collectively wake, is to awaken on an individual level. One mind helps all others to awaken, but its a personal process. None can do it for you.

  • I love that, what would the Buddha say if he saw what had come to pass as a result of his influence. I have thought this too but it's great to hear from a Buddhist nun. Regarding delusion self aggrandizement as a virtue...yes, thank you

  • fantastic witness, clear perception of the world and what is has become.

  • well, when I originally read about Tenzin Palmo in a BBC article, I had a bad impression about her. I thought she was your typically european eccentric wanna be philosophical DIKE BITCH that wants to spread the evil seed of homosexuality around to the other nations. But I will not be too hasty in my assumption. I will give her time to prove that she is not such a person.

  • @fracturedfist hmm... greed has always been available to everyone. Posession of stuff, and status, are not available to everyone. There are billions of poor, oppressed people in the world, who can't even find food everyday, let alone be CEOS, or labourers. Of course the bigger question, and her point is, why would we WANT greed, or possessions? They lead to envy, fighting, insecurity, anger and hatred. Better to have love, kindness, compassion, live simply that others may simply live.

  • Peace be with you Sister. You mention a lot of things that are going wrong, and say you don't know how we can fix it. But I'm sure you know you're part of the solution, it can't be done all at once. The process of discovering and connecting within is one that takes lifetimes. All is well. All will be well. All is being healed and made whole. We are coming back to seeing with the eyes of Love, slowly but surely, through all our lessons. God is Love, and God is running things :)

  • Haha but Buddha didn't create this havoc! Also the world is not (and has never been) entirely buddhistic. But the great teachers of the world (like Jesus and Buddha) planted a SEED. Which takes TIME to evolve. If we would experience a collective awakening (a "Big Bang"), it could only happen if everyone was on the same spiritual level! (which of course could never happen. Spiritual development takes TIME.) (on the other hand, God moves in mysterious ways. God knows what HE is up to!) :-D

  • points are man made, or constructs of mind. she sees. that is different.

  • does anyone know what the music for this clip is. Please tell me if you know the work.

  • there will be a big bang ....... then they'll either be an afterlife, or they won't.......

  • There are to many solutions, the world is created to exist, to be in harmony and balance. we're responsible for ourselves, each other and our environment. we need to be more wise, respect-full and open for new solutions and possibilities for each other. we need take as much psychedelic plants for healing as possible, to dissolve the delusions and obstacles that have penetrated our minds, it have been the only working medicine for millennia. there is much to learn.

  • @ase010

"The only working medicine for millennia."

    You forgot asceticism and pranayama.

  • @ase010 pseychedelic substances are nothing but dead-end streets disguised as short-cuts.

  • If he comes back, I think the Buddha will say "this is even better than I thought!"

  • "How to collectively wake-up?" maybe 2012 shift might help. I think some souls are awake or waking-up but others won't or don't care. It is what it is. per J.Krishnamurti," In a world that's utterly becomming dark, one must be a light to one-self ". Free Tibet!

  • I found Venerable via her book. Would love to talk with her about her own personal experience in the cave. Things she realized, come to terms with, or those moments of enlightenment.

Love this video, I am very fond and feel great warmth for the Tibetans!

I dunno, was it after VNam that people changed, greed has always been on planet earth always. Due to the explosive population, maybe there is more greed, more bad habits. I dunno the answers. Free Tibet is what I advocate for.

  • this woman is very wise, and sounds really intelligent. She makes good points about aggression and greed.

  • @WestCoastIrk I recommend you read "Cave in the Snow" it's an extraordinary journey into her life in becoming enlightened..
