Your braids are gorgeous..i too braid and i braided using synthetic hair. Mine look great also but its a bit heavy..next time i will definetly use the human hair it looks a lot lighter and you can curl them.

Because they were so tight. The end of the style was cute, but after 6 more Tylenol and a sleepless night I took the sew in down. My scalp had folded due to the braids bein so tight. Should I go back and request that she lightly redo the sew in?

Very very cute mstanish1! I decided I would try to do my own micros and failed. I went to a braiding salon and requested micros surrounding a sew in because I didn't want to sit long. She has braided my hair before, but this time after she cornrowed my hair for the sew in, I thought I was going to be sick. I started sweating, my head was pounding and I felt nauseous. You did an excellent job. I can't wait till Nov. so I can install my micros again. I think I will need 24in hair this time 18in' not long enough anymore. Love it. I braid to the the end of my real hair too and it does take a while when your hair is longer.. I normally get done in about 10 hours depending on how small I do them. Great job can't wait to see some of the styles you do with them (^_^)

Anytime u see the word "premium" or "human blend", its synthetic and it will cause u major styling problems! Other than that, it looks really good!

You are an excellent braider. Be careful, because they can cause the hair in the temple area to break off, especially with the heavier hair and if they are too tight. Love the look on you.
