  • Very interesting chair, deffinately something worth building if you have the time and enough food to replenish your energy but quite time consuming and complicated if you have an axe at hand and can build a log construction.

I'll have to attempt this myself some time.

    Excellent video btw.

  • Now that's a sweet seat you've made there

    Thanks for posting

  • Pctucket that was uncalled for and not nice to say to a man trying to teach different way of doing things you

  • would someone PLEASE take this homeless bum off this site?

  • Anigatogewi chair

  • Very cool Jack, I like your enthusiasm. I appreciate you sharing some of your knowledge. Keep up the good work buddy.

  • This is much better than al the other chair posts I have seen so far, because it uses 100% natural materials, I am sertainly going to use this.

  • Nice chair! thats also a nice looking shelter.

  • cooool

  • does it take much energy to build

and how long to build it

  • This is awesome but me pearsonally would rather just use a log

  • @wss355 logs are good, but not always available where you want them. the branches of a log are comfortable. the camp chair allows you to set it up anywhere. and it has a comfortable backrest.. thanks for the great comment!

  • Great idea. Thanks for showing. Cheers!

  • Could you use cattail leaves for the fronds on this chair do you think?

  • @hellerZauberer cattail stalks will work great.

  • could you do a review on your knife

  • Very clever as usual.

  • Thats pretty cool Jack although it wouldn't support my 230 lbs plus that y branch would drive me nuts right above the head

  • nice job Trapperjack.

    Ill have to try this.

  • Thanks !)

  • what tribe did this?

  • @jacksoncole79 i was taught this by the eastern band of Cherokee, wild potato clan

  • Very nice brother. I would think this could be used in many different ways also. Thanks for sharing.

  • Great stuff Brother....looks like a great place to call home.

  • Superb as ever. I'd like to see the results of those fish hooks too. Also, what do you carry in your pack? I'd bet your basic kit is pretty minimal right?

  • pretty neat, id like to see a vid of those primitive fish hooks in action

  • That's a neat chair Jack. I like the way it came together. I'll keep that in mind. thanks

  • @pedalpusher101 i dont carry much just spare clothes, vegie oil , and the basic bracket, flints, bones ect.
