I think the division bell was an outstanding exit for pink floyd. Gilmour brought the band back from the forced dark angry music proudced by waters back to the spacey sound similar to WYWH but more muture and better solos.

This band was truly different...many older bands, such as Styx, Bon Jovi, and Reo Speedwagon, tried to sound as good in the concert as on the recording. Pink Floyd on the other hand, sounds better live that on the recording. They kind of changed the face of music.
