And I was behind the guy filming this girl, because I turned my head and saw it in first person. These guys were very nice, and took the weight of mixing their performance off my back (at the time, I usually ran the mixer for instores), but one of their guys came in with this giant tower of compressors/gates/efx/etc. . .I said to myself "WTF". So the dude kindly ran the sound, rather than me. Obviously, that was the better choice. It was one of the best instores I've ever been a part of.

That's me, at 0:06-the fat guy in the grey shirt who looks like he's screaming. I wasn't screaming, by the way-just caught in mid-word. I was the assistant manager at Manifest when saosin did this instore. I remember this one very well, because I was joking with my manager that I wouldn't allow the show unless one of the band members could identify the species of beetle on their album cover. After the show, one of the guys came up to me and said "Rhinoceros". He was right. Obviously-a joke.
