@arnohofman your graphics card might not be good enough for this game, the requirements on the box are minimum requirements, and after a period of time your hardware gets weaker in power so thats probably why :)

@Paragski Nah, I think having the bar right under the car is a good way to keep you from checking it out constantly and keep you focused on the track and everything happening around you. It bothers me when I have to watch out for the levels of my power ups and nas, and things like that when I'm in an intense race with a complicated level. Besides, it shouldn't be enough to make a game bad or disappointing if that's your only issue with it.

I hated it at first, but in the context of this game, it seems to work better, because you need to keep your eyes fixed on your car a lot.
