  • Just fucking listen to the music, who gives a shit about Skrillex?

  • Benga and Coki make the best drum sounds. It's hypnotic. The clap just bores into my mind.

  • <3

  • Comment removed

  • CAPS LOCK MUCH<3

  • Cant people like Benga and Skrillex?

  • @ReverseMusicMan i'm not too big on skrillex, dont hate him either. but i love both benga and borgore.

  • @KamKomissioner yeah borgore is a great artist aswell

  • FOR FUCKS SAKE!

WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO?

I CANT WATCH A SINGLE MUSIC VIDEO WITHOUT SOME ONE MENTIONING JUSTIN BEIBER OR SKRILLEX JUST STFU ALREADY!

    /rage

  • @fakeaccount663 dont read the fucking comments then

  • OH MY DIDDAYYYY!

  • GOT DAMNIT I FUCKING HATE SKRILLEX AND ALL HIS GAY ASS FUCKING FOLLOWERS!!! skrillex is nothing but a faggot

  • I'm amazed at how simple of a song this is. But it's so fucking great.

  • How many dubstep video's have i gone to that the comments haven't mentioned skrillex?

  • All you skrillex haters give him more fame everytime you type his name. Hipsters we get it, you dont like the crowd that skrillex is getting played to, quit claiming dubstep like you have some kind of ownership over it, Its all music. You can be a fan of both, Grow up fags.

  • @hcpalpha Oh I don't mind people listening to Skrillex' music. What I mind is that it still gets called dubstep when every last bit of influence from the dub genre is long gone. It's like listening to some jumpstyle and saying that it's the best jazz you've ever heard. People are bound to be insulted.

They're just names, but our taste in music is part of our identity to the outside world. Nobody likes people messing with their image/identity.

No hate intended, just having a nice talk.

  • @hcpalpha skrillex is the justin bieber of edm, the more the hate the bigger the fame

  • This + phat bowl of chronic = dimension where sound is a living entity

  • Lyrics:

Wob Wob WOb Wob Wob WOb WOb Wob WOb Wob Wob Wob WOb WOb Wob Wob Wob

    U're welcome x

  • oh my god i need a subwoofer -_- i'd like everyone to like my comment and subscribe to me so i can get a partnership with youtube to afford one :) LOLJK

  • okay i honestly have to say, i thought dubstep was all about bass so when i hear Night and Midnight Request Line im like HOW IS THIS DUBSTEP. then people say there's sub bass so yeah i hope it does because i'd really love to hear these songs how they're meant to be heard :)

  • im kind of in the middle ground in that i like old dubstep but also new stuff like skrillex and nero. hipster cunts annoy me but so do the cunts who only like skrillex and think everything he does is dubstep.

  • @LOGIESPZ same as me, it's not impossible to like midnight request line as well as scary monsters and nice sprites. skrillex is popular for a reason, but me, you and 95,222 people are also here for a reason

  • So many Dubbers deserve credit over Skrillex.

  • top tune still

  • doo doo doo doo doo doo doooo doooo doooo dooooooooo

  • This beat is dark, eerie, and funky, I love it

  • dubstep = porn for the blind

  • @DroiidLife @DroiidLife lol i dont mind skrillex, but to say hes better than benga is ridiculous. thats if that is what youre saying, and by looking at your videos i am correct in that assumption. without benga there would be no skrillex, this is real dubstep, this is how dubstep used to be. skrillex is more often guilty of producing brostep which is actually the 'faggy' dubstep youre on about. clearly if you rate skrillex that highly you dont know alot about dubstep.

  • @JamDizzle14 Don't feed the troll.

  • @JamDizzle14 best speech ever m8 i agree on so many levels

  • @JamDizzle14 yo both sound like haters to me. So sit down and shut up

  • @JamDizzle14 I love how say this when original artists such as Skrem Benga, caspa, Mala, dub police etc all support and recognise skrillex as a talented individual at creating new generation dubstep.

  • @JamDizzle14 Knowing alot about dubstep doesn't deny the fact that Skrillex is amazingly talented, I love it when people proclaim that because they listen to older dub they have the right to deny an artist's success and think they're morally superior to newer fans.

    Egotistical much?

  • @Scodge08 at what point did i ever say skrillex wasnt talented? if you look at the top rated comment, youll notice that i said 'i didnt mind him'. i listen to his stuff, hes a good producer. so dont put words in my mouth.

  • @JamDizzle14 'if you rate skrillex that highly you dont know alot about dubstep'

The argument I made was that you suggested knowing more about a genre means that you should rate artists that are doing well badly..

  • @JamDizzle14 It's all a matter of opinions. We all have our own. Quite frankly from what I've heard I prefer Skrillex.

  • @DroiidLife

    holy shit.

my retard alert just went nuts.

  • @DroiidLife dee derp dee derpity derp derp

  • @DroiidLife Can't tell if troll or failure at life.

  • @DroiidLife lmao I can guarentee you there are more people in the world who get annoyed by Skrillex than by Benga

  • @DroiidLife This song came out in 2007... skrillex debuted in 2009... skrillex poisoned the world of dubstep. if you don't like it, quit whining and get off of the video.

  • @DroiidLife ew wtf was that lmao

  • @DroiidLife its kind of funny without benga skrillex wouldnt have never known what dubstep is, considering benga helped create dubstep... so skrillex would be nothing without this "faggy dubstep".

  • @DroiidLife wow extremely disappointed at how inaccurate this joke is.

  • @DroiidLife GTFO!!!!

  • @DroiidLife YOU COMMENT ON EVERY VIDEO I WATCH AND IT'S CREEPY!!!

  • i say this is like triphop

  • @mellowhypeeeee

It's chill enough, but it's too bouncy.

  • @EnDZYm3 agreed

  • Wikipedia lies.

  • Nothing beats Benga!

  • benga TONIGHT at global dubstep festival woop woop!

  • Finally I found the full version... God bless ya, JamDizzle14!

  • guys, this is clearly triple kick double side hop with psytrance dildo influences.

  • @IndieGeekProductions hahahahahah

  • I love how people argue about the roots of dubstep

Just listen and shut up haha

  • @MrRabbitlips Nuff said ma brotha!

  • ain't this that thing i heard about... eeeh, let me think. - music!?

  • i really loooove it <3

  • and not being funny but this song has an absolutely killer drop on it, how don't people hear that?!

  • sometimes I really wish people weren't allowed to comment on videos

  • please shut up and listen to the music

  • this beat is just killer man...years old but still going

  • keds now would get mad cause this don't sounds like skrillex. this is still one of the biggest tunes of the century man

  • questa, che mandano prima dei concerti dei subsonica, è stupenda ma mi mette una cifra di ansia :S

  • ABSOLUTELY MASSSIVE TUNE!

  • listen to this song in 240p and then listen to it in 480p and u get to listen to this great song twice but diffrently :)

  • sick beat!!!

  • @RockstarJuicedJart Holy fuckin shit that is a crazy difference!!!

  • sick! oO

  • best tune on the album, well maybe, duel is definitely a contender too, actually fuck it, they're all the best tune on the album, every single one

  • @peebatron10k i realy enjoyed 26 basslines, i think it was on this album

  • stupid ads ,why would i like glee?

  • @senorretard close your eyes and feel da music mate hehe ;)

  • @senorretard STUPID ASSHOLE, Y U NO LIKE GLEE?

  • @1337x1337x anyone else reading this , explain why glee is gay

  • @senorretard lmao it makes people turn into this @1337x1337x XD

  • @senorretard Thats a poorly placed adveert :L

  • tutututututu tuuu tuuuu tuuuu tuuuu tuuuuuu

  • so is dubstep like a band? or a type of music. im confused

  • @kenicke579 trolling for sure

  • Have an epic inception feel to it, especially the beginning. Amazing Track

  • Love it got me dancing round the front room while doing house work

  • Is this dub or dubstep and whats the difference with grime?

  • @L0wnyus this is dubstep. 'dub' is a form of dancehall music which is basically a hard version of reggae. 'dubstep' is mainly about off beat drums and how the snares influence the rythm, plus the main focus on dubstep is usually the drop, some have heavier drops than others tho. 'grime' to put it simply, is a mixture of electro sounds, dance, hip hop and garage; garage being the main foundation. if you wanna know more then look em up on wikipedia.

  • @JamDizzle14 glad someone else in the world knows wassup.

  • @JamDizzle14 MAYBE you should do a little more research on music in general. the "drums" are not drums at all. even if it wasnt electronically made they STILL arent drums. Aux. Percussion is the term. and none of it is technically "off beat" it sounds like they are all in beat with each other to me. so before you go post things thinking you are all smart i would recommend you KNOW what you are saying first. then you might come off as smart. cause right not you are stupid. THANKS FOR PLAYING!

  • @Wang429 ''with ‘lazy’ off-beat kick-drum beats that increase the feeling of swing. The use of velocity on each sample is key to making the drums both swing and sound less quantised and robotic — note how the velocity changes on the ‘lazy’ kicks. Meanwhile, rimshots on the off-beats add shuffle to the beat, while the contrast between open and several closed hi-hat sounds adds movement and variety.''

  • @JamDizzle14 okay interpret that. lazy off beat kicks- follows with what they said with swing. swinging music IS lazy music. thats why it gets that feeling. its still on beat to everything else. and when they say 'off-beat' they dont mean random noise. they mean a subdivision of the down beats. if you count music, it would be on the & in between the down beats. ex: 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & (1/8 notes). then there are subdivisions of that. ex: 1 e & a 2 e & a 3 e & a 4 e & a (16th notes). and so on.

  • @Wang429 i know what i meant, and i know what they mean. i never said they were off beat as if it was just a random mess, of course its in beat. but thats how they describe dubstep so thats how i was explaining it, perhaps you stop tryna be a condisending prick.

  • @JamDizzle14 dude you seriously need to get a job

  • @JamDizzle14 you're a fucking idiot. dub started as voiceless reggae tracks that would feature echos and slowed down tempos, as well as, obv, minimal vocals. this made them easier to mix by dj's of the day.dubstep is the fusion of drum and bass/jungle and dub, or put another way dub music and 2-step bass rhythms. it's about the mathematics of music and having two separate beats going for the drums and bass of a song... and grime is new-school UK rap, with dubstep/dnb as musical backdrops.

  • @pHuXxXBoXx actually you cock, dancehall is the derivative form of dub. i also know where dubstep came from, i was just putting it in laymens terms and actually grime came from garage initially and has dancehall/reggae and hip hop influences. and for the record grime came out before dubstep.

  • @JamDizzle14 if dancehall came from dub, how can dub be a form of dancehall music?

also, your explanation was utter shite - what laymen do you live with?

  • @L0wnyus also another thing, DnB and dubstep are simmilar bu not the same, although dubstep does have DnB influences. Dubstep is alot slower and has choppy rythm, whereas DnB has a seamless rythm and is alot faster.

  • @JamDizzle14 muisic like opera is from Western europe which can be traced back to days of the romans which lead to fusion genras like swing (also takeing elements from jazz), ect, where as Reggae comes other jamican music styles such as ska or rocksteady, which are chains of different music origins... not 1 music origin as you sugested

  • @L0wnyus in dubstep listen for the snare on beat 3 which is always emphasised. also of course listen out for that fat bassy sound, dubstep originally came from dub but has evolved very very quickly so the two genres aren't that similar anymore, if you listen in early dubstep they often still have that guitar on the offbeat thing which is one of the most defining characteristics of reggae - (where dub came from)

  • @L0wnyus grime & dubstep are basically the same thing, they are both sub genres of garage

  • @yesitsvetz If that was true, all music is basicley the same as they are all sub genre of a bigger genre.

  • @MathieuDnB bruv how did you work that one out lol, there are many music genres that are not related to each other at all... unlike grime & dubstep which basically started at the same time, in the same area, from the same music scene

  • @yesitsvetz actually bruv, music dont just sprout of the ground, it evolves and changes. every genre will have something from another genre in it somewhere, or will be inspired by or be a derivative of. music is like a story, its basically a different version of the same event told by all kinds of different people and intepritations.

  • @JamDizzle14 lol no shit... my first comment was about sub-genres, but you'll find different countries have their own origins of music, meaning many music genres are not related to each other at all... you are making out that every music comes from one source & that my friend is very very wrong

  • @yesitsvetz ok then, name the genres you think are entirely on their own, and il tell you if youre right or wrong. because being as this world is inhabbited by human beings and we have the means to travel across it, its not impossible that all music is related.

  • @JamDizzle14 even tho many modern genres are fusion genres you will still find that traditional European music has no relation to music of Africa, or traditional american music to be related to music from the middle east musics, & this shows how music comes from many different sources & not just one source as you suggested

  • @JamDizzle14 here are some independent examples of origin music genres, Arabian maqam (arabic) Folk music (african american), Gospel music (religious), Classical, tribal (africa), they are just a few of them

  • @JamDizzle14 thought you were gonna tell me if I'm right or not :)

  • @yesitsvetz Does that make them thesame? They sound completely different...

  • makes me wanna get downnnnn. love it.

  • This beat is so sick! Makes me wanna get the block together to have a shoobs...just for this song though! Never heard the full version so thanks for enlightening me.

  • @MMAbraa What you want mate is brostep, shit that got popular after the BWOMP BWOMP was introduced, this is DUBSTEP not fucking grimestep.

  • @MMAbraa Fuck off mate, If you want to listen to that shitass dubstep fucking go listen to it... But i'm allright listening to the original sounds.

  • For the one person who disliked. You might want to turn your speakers on first next time. You'll actually hear the music dumb ass.

  • Chill song but i dont see how this was top in the charts for such a long time. Its good but not amazing. Thats just my opinion though.

  • @DavidxDGP dude... this is totaly awesome...

  • @IIGrim3zII go listen to dub then, cos this is dubstep.

  • @JamDizzle14 very funny wiseguy

  • @JamDizzle14 this is dub....

  • @ECCY101 i know for a fact this is dubstep, but to strengthen my argument:

''The summer of 2007 saw dubstep's musical palette expand further, with Benga and Coki scoring a crossover hit (in a similar manner to Skream's "Midnight Request Line") with the track "Night", which gained widespread play from DJs in a diverse range of genres. ''

  • @ECCY101 WRONG. dub has been around since the 60s.

    wikipedia /wiki/Dub_music

  • @dave38x i never said it wasnt... just because something is not from the 60's doesnt mean its not dub.... your argument is invalid.

  • @ECCY101 I meant you were wrong about this being dub mate, its dubstep... not the age of genres. I was merely pointing out that dub was something entirely different :)

  • @ECCY101 dub & dubstep are 2 different genres

  • @dave38x cant argue against wikipedia...

  • @IIGrim3zII then fuck off

  • @LLMAXG dont act though kid

  • @IIGrim3zII haha go away

  • @IIGrim3zII Well your a retard then aren't you!
