  • 1:40 oh shit hes going for the armbar, this could be it, and its all over. fuckin loss prevention.

  • sick job

  • well done guys i do quite a bit of lp myself but you do have an awful lot of violent apprehensions

  • This video was good, the apprehension takes were funny and horrible at the same time and all the haters comment ing sound like former shoplifters

  • Lol @ this pathetic video.. it's seriously sad.

Loss prevention officers are so try-hard, I've dealt with their failures before.

But I love watching their poor tackles and the shirt grabbing! hahahaha

  • Lost prevention officers are police force scraps (not good enough/weirdos/crimez/pedos/trannies) LOL...............

  • @Flexmet Your grammar offends me. Nice channel by the way, your little toy pet collection? LOL you fucking jizz sipping bitch.

  • @WWookiiee Yes my daughter made the video, she is very proud of her collection. And you must have taken offence to my comment. I hope your not one of the below. ; )

  • What you talking about its you in every clip with the shaved head stopping the trolley thefts! Why do you tackle someone for taking the trolley out of the multi million dollar store?????????????? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

  • whoever posted this ivd is a FAG!!!

  • @BustersTexas

ha !!! u been caught befor and for ur ass arrested

  • THE LADY JUST STARES LIKE IM NOT GOING INSIDE THIS STORE LOL

  • I hate how LP think they're cops and have so much authority, would be a cool job. But I would hate to put kids in Juvi or fine them for such dumb reasons..

  • @Hellscope1 in 2 years of LP for target we busted 5 kids. All 5 of those kids were turned over to the parents. We are not heartless. And most do not think we are cops. I was there to stop people from stealing because its our job.

  • was the last guy stealing a trash can?

  • @SuperToybox123 Trashcan was most likely full of merchandise.

  • I work my store by myself, with no help. I caught over 100 last year. For every one I catch, I think 5 get away. There is no end to it. At least I will never have to worry about finding a job.

  • Keep up the good work alpine1997, I use to work LP in Colorado at a large sporting goods store kinda miss it but had to make more money for the family.

  • i cant believe that guy goes hands-on with back up.... wtf

  • This is why I love working Assets Protection for Target.

  • CORPORATIONS ARE THE REAL CROOKS

  • @ozarkmac

  • lol Your job is Shoplifting?

  • Stop them all. Wow this guy is good at stopping shoplifters. A partner maybe, not that he needs help. Stealing is wrong. Even worst if you get caught. I like the music. I cannot save you. Save yourself. Jail cells are waiting for you reserve your today.

  • This will become rampant, people are desperate and will soon start doing more than just shoplift to stay alive in this sick, sick society we live. what are all these unemployed people to do.

  • at my former job the employer would not allow us to approach the thief, just wait for them to leave the store and let the po-po's catch em then

  • Bloodthirsty, zealous, control-obsessed and worst of all, unprofessional.

Thank lord you'll never make more than a burger cooker.

  • It is suprising to see retailers putting their employees in a position that can cause them harm (possibly death) in order to protect Company assets. Whatever it is that a thief is desperate to take does not justify risking an employees life.... This is my extra credit assignment.

    S.Cervantes

  • @7176scervantes

I work in a shop and I just let people take stuff

    I honestly don't give a fuck

  • Interesting video and the comments make me think that a lot of people don't see shoplifting as a crime but as a right of entitlement against big business. Some of thecomments by people in loss prevention alsomade me think why are they in the business...I was surprised at how physical the loss prevention people were with the thieves...I wonder how many get hurt trying to do their job...This is my extra credit assignment.

  • NICE VIDEOS BRO. THUMBS UP FOR THIS ONE.

  • Lmao, the idiot at 1:25 forgot the toilet paper.

  • @TheMadStork83 its called nesting a technique to conceal the items he was lifting. He didn't give 2 shits about the butt wipe bro. Peace.

  • @justaman6972 lol, obviously. It was a joke.

  • That guard did NOT throw an armbar on that kid lol!!!!!

  • why do shop lifters always act surprised that they got stopped?

then they think they will let them go if they say they didn't nothing.

  • I can steal and get you to help me load it in my car. I can steal and get you to hold the door open for me. I can steel and get you to give me cash. I can walk right up to you and talk to you and hold what I am stealing in front of your face.

  • I am a security guard in canada I have only done loss prevention once at a canadian tire. stood at the door for 8 hrs on the christmas holidays. I am proud to say no one stole a thing:) I work in a nuclear medicine facility now.

  • i was all excited about applying for an LP job. I went to the interview, and they told me it starts at 9$ an hour. Did i go to the wrong place? or does it pay that bad?

  • @Sodiumreactor You might of went to a weird place... don't know any LP places that pay that bad. I do LP for Sears Canada and I get $12.25. It aint great but it's amazing experience. My buddy does LP for the LCBO's in Toronto and he's contracted for $17/hr. It just depends where you go. Good hunting :P

  • @jaytay161616 thanx for the info. It was Macys that i went too. I will keep looking though!

  • Notice how they are all at Target...

  • 18 shoplifters didn´t like the video

  • Why on earth would you steal a trash can?

  • @iamadeadghostgirl

....IT WAS MOST LIKELY FILLED WITH MORE MERCHANDISE INIT......

  • @iamadeadghostgirl Because you would put a bunch of stuff in the trashcan, It would have been a better idea to fill it with things then buy the thing and leave with it.

  • Who do some look like they are the same store?

  • yeah, they can't do any of that stuff to people anymore.

now, because of all the legal stuff, all they can do is report it to the police as the person is walking out the door

  • @WestonVonWellington its funny because i work for loss prevention at target and we get down hard......yes we do use force on ppl if they refuse.....thats why we have hand cuffs.....

  • @WestonVonWellington

NOT TRUE I WORK FOR RETAIL LP AND I STOP PPL ALL THE TIME, IF I KNOE THE PERSON HAS A WEAPON THEN I JUST LET PD DO THE STOP, IF I KNOW IM SAFE ILL TAKE IT.....

  • man I miss the good old days of slamming a shoplifter on their head

  • @83anything I miss the good old days of suing stores for 1,000x the cost of the shoplifted items. Another hothead lp 'judge' gets his ass fired. LOL

  • @Scientologists4Angle what are you talking about. I caught hundreds of people and nobody sued or even fought it in court. have fun stealing stuff cause you will get caught eventually

  • i owe wal mart so much money.

  • Nice video... reminds me of the good old days working LP... One of the funnest jobs I have ever worked. Its funny how many people say they would knock out "Some LP guy". HAHA thats what they say...crazy..how they are not the toughest person in the world even though they were sooo sure of it...then they woke up in cuffs.

  • FUCK THE POLICE N ALL OF LOSS PREVENTION

  • @SuperCivic1983 LOL @Ebaumsworld.

oh hey man, it's all a game. Don't be upset about it. The politicians are THE biggest criminals but they never get arrested. God is ultimate judge. Nobody escapes.

  • FAGGOT ASS MUTHAFUCKA AT 1:31 HAD DAT SPIDER-MAN GRIP ON DAT DUDE!!!!!!!!

  • @SuperCivic1983 should give him a kiss

  • sick video.

  • @ 3.46 looks like there kissing lol

  • Good job guys, I hate thiefs, drive up prices for everyone. Now, Walmart has started to take out all of the self service checkout scanners, I really enjoyed using them. Why is Walmart taking out these scanners.....because assholes were cheating them when using the self checkout. This country is getting worse and worse, full of thiefs and scumbags.

  • texaschizophrenic we only grab people that steal. But if I meet you at a bar or club I'd kick yo ass!

  • i want to have that job!!!

  • I don't shoplift, but if some "Loss-Prevention" idiot tried to grab me I would knock him out cold.

All this wrestling footage is stupid. Really? Minimum wage security work, and some fat ass, lazy cops who are only interested in easy work like arresting already detained shoplifters and pot smokers.

  • @texaschizophrenic So you have no respect for a employee of a store doing a valuable job? Yes, the stores consider stopping theft of their merchandise a big deal, as they should. Fuckers in this country will steal anything that is not bolted into concrete.

  • @tickyul Way to be another idiot to respond to an old comment. Sorry that you get rubbed the wrong way reading others comments especially when they don't pertain to anything you're talking about. I said if a loss prevention moron tried to grab me suspecting I have shit I would hit him. People steal, but I don't. I don't want to suffer from a system targeted towards some individuals, and if I did (just like if a dirty cop tried to arrest me) I would put him down like an animal. Deal with it.

  • @texaschizophrenic Ok, I can see you are just another sociopath that I will have to watch out for. You cannot accept a person doing their job, kick their teeth in because they mistakenly thought you stole something....wow, pathetic. And, I am sure you are a badass, but, remember there is always someone badder than you. It may even be that wimpy guy whos ass you just kicked a week ago, he gets revenge buy sneaking up on you and plunging a pen into your eye, happens all of the time RAMBO.

  • also, it isn't considered shoplifting until you physically leave the store. you guys are a couple of jackoffs. i would like to see you try to stop me. you are pussies you aren't tough just because you detain middle school kids trying to steal shit. you are a couple of pussies and you have absolutely no real authority whatsoever. don't lie to yourselves. and everyone knows who the loss recovery people are, they walk around everyday and never buy anything it doesn't take a genius to spot you guys.

  • I'm not sure what "word of mouth" sources you guys are using, but I stop and detain shoplifters for concealing. My source is the State Senator I work for. And there's a big difference between what a person looks like when they accidentally conceal something versus intentionally concealing it.

  • Public humiliation. That's enough of a reason for me not to shoplift.. among other things...

  • Comment removed

  • this guy want be a policeman, lol

  • oh no wonder the guys towards the end are getting caught , there stealing from Target . If these were videos from walmart they would all be getting away

  • security guards are the biggest losers and tools of society.

  • @fegget1 If it weren't for these "tool" loss Prevention officers and Guards you would easily be paying 10-15% more at retail stores. Then you would probably blame the "tool" retailers and not the theives.

  • I hate shoplifters.

  • @kljMN2 i shoplift all the time. Ive beaten many lps that have gotten in the way

  • its great, i had one guy take out a whole cart full of diet shakes.... he even did the classic look bothways before exiting like the guy in the second clip from the beg with the car waiting. for him. Guy faught like crazy too

  • oi I used to love watching these vids (its what i do and i love it!) but i can no longer listen or look at the comments cus of stupid people that have no idea what they are talking about.

  • @Cuddlekitten1984 Hey man everyone here's an expert dude-get with it! ;-)

It's my job too and I think the differences in store policy, state law and the country in question (not to mention unexperienced people), all contribute to a lot of waffle n hot air at times in comments sections. Ah well the vids are funny sometimes eh :-)

  • I have a special hatred for shoplifters and thieves. They are the roaches of society and seeing them get stomped brings me a lot of joy. Too many people have been killed or injured by these scum. It's too bad stealing a $1000 is about the same as not wearing your seat belt in the eyes of the law.

  • @xylemphoenix "Killed or injured"? I don't think so. Sound a little too extreme for shoplifters. I believe you're thinking of robbers. Wrong video.

  • @montecarlomayne Unless you have worked retail, you wouldnot have seen the extent of what people will do to not get caught jacking a $1.00 candy bar or a 12 pack of beer. Just a couple months ago in Phoenix, a man was killed and his wife beaten because they got in the way of a beer run.

  • I don't shoplift, but if I were ever touched by a Target employee like that, I would fucking destroy them.

  • @ShigetoMishima Thing is you would end up with an assault charge on top of the theft charge (being a much more serious offence too). If a crook plays up like that, they generally always get done through ID'ing them using cctv systems throughout the store and centre, combined with witness's/LP's/center security etc. who gather car rego plate etc. I see this simple theft charge/caution turn ugly alot.

  • @JAIJAI0 No, I beg to differ. YOU would end up with an assault charge. If someone has done nothing, and they are touched in that manner, they have ever right to respond accordingly. If someone is shoplifting, that's a different story. You can't just touch and grab anyone you fucking want to, this is the U.S.

  • @ShigetoMishima These are all shoplifters getting caught though.....I agree with you on the fact you can't be handled like that over nothing- I meant if you are caught shoplifting and you react violently whilst trying to escape :-)

  • The LPO that's one up in most clips is going to get himself stabbed or worse with the way he's approaching and dealing with crooks! Two LP's at a time should be mandatory, pity some company's don't care.

  • I admire these young guys, you don't know if those shoplifters are dangerous or have a weapon yet these guys take the risk for a few dollars an hour.

  • Why is it that different store have such wildly different procedures for stopping these idiots? Is it a liability issue?

  • @craigsgirl48167 Yes it's a liability issue. Some retailers want things done a certain way, its all part of that retailers program of LP. Some retailers are hands on, and a lot are hands off. Where i work our policy we dont want to apprehend but if worst comes to worst then we will. We can't touch them at all, but i found out if you stand in front of the suspect and they touch you or try to run through you, you can defend yourself and not get fired.

  • @urboisandman It makes total sense - Once they touch you, it's not just about stealing anymore, because they'd basically have to assault you to get out. I hope you guys at least carry pepper spray or something too, just in case you get an extra special idiot. I'm sure you get all kinds!

  • Stealing is wrong people get a job and actualy pay for the shit your stealing i worked at a kmart for 2 years before getting my job at a cable company and the people that stole from us got caught some stores if you steal over $25 worth of stuff you will go straight to jail

  • dnt look suspecious nor dress suspicious, caue sum of those guards are trained to critisize.

  • @mrKANYEwes Yeah thats the problem with alot of security guards they base everything on dress or suspicion. You can't always base everything on looks alone. Some Drugmart and Rite Aid Guards don't know what the hell they are doing unless you see a person stealing its kind of difficult to know who's who. Im steal heated from yesterday of being accused of stealing after being a customer for 10 years for Drug Mart.

  • dude . why is it always target bustin the shoplifters! =(

  • @ephor94

dude have u ever been into a target?

the have like 2000 cameras in there!

    like five on every isle!

  • @mrKANYEwes Target is pretty fucking brutal about loss prevention for some reason.

Strangely Walmart is a bigger chain yet their security is way more lax, in most places at least.

  • @SverrirMD Target has amazing technology and spends a lot of money on cameras and equipment. Wal-Mart for some reason doesn't.

  • Stealing has been here sence recorded history! shoplifting will never been stopped.

Only reduced!..retail markets will always lose millions or billions of dollars globally.

Its rediculous that a man may get 3 years in jail for stealing a pair of sneakers?

and get 2 years in prison for murder? our court system is screwed and flawed.

  • SORRY CALIFORNIAMAN BUT JDBAILEY22 IS COMPLETELY RIGHT. I AM LOSS PREVENTION FOR TARGET AND UNDER TARGET RULES I AM TRAINED AND ALLOWED TO STOP SOMONE FROM LEAVING THE STORE WITH UNPAID MERCHANDISE..I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO DO WAT I CAN TO PREVENT HIM/HER FROM LEAVING......

  • By the way, 95% of the time the loss prevention officers won't chase you further than the car park, because if you're injured while they are chasing you, you can sue them.

  • why didn't you show the ones where you got busted in the eye and the fool got away? hero.

  • Denver FTW

  • Hail Satan!

  • All your videos show is how lacking in skill store security is, to turn something they should have been on the ball with, into a dangerous physical game.

Brute force, rarely works and only for short durations, while the smart criminals just walk past these security robots and laugh.

  • hahaha i gotta story.... i did stole, and i got caught, was i ever pissed at the guy who busted me, well about a year later, guess who i seen in the bar.... hahaha fuck well outside i knocked him out even when he was on the ground my friends were all kicking him, stomping on his head, his friends figured out wat was going on and dragged him away to their car -- im sure they went too the hospital... if he would just fucking minded his own fucking business.... let that be a lesson to all of you.

  • @reginasaskatchewan21 lol awesome story haha

  • @reginasaskatchewan21 Bullshit

  • @reginasaskatchewan21 next time l hope they give u a nice fvcking treatment backstage u fvcking idiot!!! he did his job, what did u do, u fvking lowlife *******, and then u say like its a joke u toke some revenge on him??! u stupid fvcking **********!

  • @reginasaskatchewan21 y did u take revenge on som1 who was doing their job??this story makes u sound like a bitch!! UR the 1 who was stealing...DUMBASS!!!

  • I have a question to those true shoplifters.

I was planning to jack these earphones in Staples which cost like $20 and i just wanna know that if i shoplift, would the doors activates its theft alarm if it detects it? Or should i remove the tag just in case? I'm pretty scared and it would be my first time shoplifting.. Please reply honestly.

  • @FliPf13 well most of merchandice packages has a hidden alluminum tag thats what they detect well for true shoplifters should know that

  • Wow that last guy really put up a fight =l

  • What sort of fag tackles people down for a living for some big corporations useless shit. At 3:20 what did the guy do wrong?

  • @Passenger87

You are allowed to use that force which is necessary to detain a subject.

  • @Passenger87 are you serious when u ask what did he do wrong.. are you a retard?

  • Lol, I like how the people don't even check the people before tackling them and beating them to the ground...

  • @warrior5496 not just that even the privated security's judge you for how you look cuz i went to AJ WRIGHT and i was wearing a black long sleve t-shirt and blck south pole jeans and got tackle by those dick heads cuz they though i was suspicious so i had to sue TJ-MAXX and they got a lesson of their own (never judge people for how they look)

  • just flash ur piece and get away easily!

  • Also, the comment about what happened at 3:20 is likely a repeat offender. Most outlets won't nab you the first time, unless you're being very outright about it or stealing something really high end...they'll rack up video evidence against you so that when they bust you, they can get you for felony theft instead of shoplifting. Also makes it easier to stick a conviction in court if you have more than one occurrence on camera.

  • It's not illegal to touch someone, just usually discouraged by the company except in very specific situations. In fact, at the retail outlet I work at, our cashiers are trained that if someone tries to reach into your cash drawer without your permission, you are fully allowed to slam the drawer on their fingers and break them.

  • Talk about being dedicated to your job...

  • no its not illegal, as a matter of fact in Florida if you resist a LP associate it is considered a misdemeanor (Resisting a Retail Merchant).

  • No crime occurred at 3:20 . He never concealed anything on his person or left the store. I think it is false imprisonment and battery to physically stop someone who never left the store or concealed merchandise on their person.

  • @ssotelo

Well unless you worked there... and witnessed the event... how are you to know if he did or did not conceal anything.

You do not have to leave the store to be stopped. In California you can stop on concealment alone. Secondly, if he has passed all manned registers which he clearly has he can be stopped.

And i have also stated that you can use "That force which is necessary to detain a subject."

A judge watching the video will state "Subject FORCIBLY tried to exit"

  • @ssotelo thats too bad cause the DA would disagree with you.. For one he damn sure wasnt taking the trash out so its pretty common sense what he was doing.. and in some states u dont have to conceal and you can be busted anywhere within the store.

  • how did u get a job like that? sounds fun... where do u work? i want a job like that.

  • If you ask me these idiots are 100% unprofessional and it's because of them the whole law enforcement profession has a fucked up image.

  • @californiamale

Hey some of us still try to do our jobs professionally. Don't bash all of us man.

  • @californiamale fuck the law they cant arrest us all

  • @californiamale how so?

  • @californiamale You must be a shoplifter that's been busted a few times, lol

  • @californiamale

lol me al just snatch dat shit

    includin jc penny bro

steal my clothes gtf out of there

they dnt do nuttin trust me

go in the out fittin room put the clothes on inside ur shirt or sumthin den walk out

  • when they grab u just give em a swift kick to da nuts and run and all shall be good

  • you shoplift for your job?

  • @765tony If a shoplifter would pull a weapon when they're just trying to be apprehended then there is something seriously wrong with them. 99.9 percent of the time they won't.

  • dude wtf? since when where undercovers allowed to push the shoplifters? isnt that illegal? wtf?

  • depends on your training and position actual hired security and AP agents have every right to tackle you if they can prove you where shoplifting. It moves against my moral fiber some times but that is my next job actualy

  • If your shoplifting and someone thats hired by the store catches you and you try to run, he has every right to A)Prevent you from leaving and detain you, as well as B) Recover the merchandise that you have stolen

  • @jdbailey22

nope not even dis guy cought me stealing hair gel from wall greens

an i ran he just said dnt come to dis store again

    an wut did i say?

    FUCK YOU!

    lmao

  • @skeemz209 lol hair gel???/

  • Comment removed

  • @tomsambest it is shoplifting when you go pass all points of sale. Which you should know what that means if you are a loss prevention detective. Some states concealment is shoplifting. Know your facts before you comment.

  • Comment removed

  • @jdbailey22

    right you are sir

i work as loss prevention at walmart and as long as you are on walmart property i have every right and can take whatever actions to detain you and recover m y merchandise

  • @MrMentalia the thing is, you are just a security guard and you have absolutely no authority to stop anyone. you can't even touch a person who you suspect of shoplifting. this is because in the past walmart has been sued for mistreating innocent suspected shoplifters. this is actually the law, you don't know what you're talking about. if i needed to steal something and you tried to stop me I would do whatever I had to do to escape, and there is nothing you could ever do to stop me.

  • @murphyhurtme Come to my store! Ill knock ur teeth out!

  • Yeah it is.

  • @gunsnrosescolin2 LMAO.. since when are shoplifters allowed to steal, run from LP, Run from cops, Fight LP, Fight Cops? answer them first

  • pretty violent how they catch them... jeezzzz

  • That manager is a bamf

  • this looks like 80% of the vid was target..i work at target and my boyfriend is AP at target..people must think target is the easiest store...

  • Its the target for crime

    No pun intended =]

  • target is one of the hardest

  • I love how that short bitch in the uniform does absolutely fuck all, standing around directing traffic and shit. Reminds me of cop videos: a male cop will be struggling with a suspect, basically fighting for his fucking life trying to keep the suspect from getting his gun, etc, and the dipshit, scared, weak-ass female cop will be standing four feet away waving her fucking baton, lightly tapping the suspect on the back with it.

    Fucking political correctness.

  • that place looks like wal mart...

  • think youre a wanna be cop...did u fail to be one??

  • Comment removed

  • what is this song??

  • sounds like stabbing westward

  • yeah i just downloaded their discography but i still only like this one song.

  • I work for Target as Assets Protection and I love my job!!! I love going to work hunting for shoplifters and getting that rush during an arrest.. Very fun work!

  • Sounds like you are one proud loss prevention agent - That's really noble work you are doing! I can't imagine the rush I would get searching for shoplifters and arresting them! Nothing can get more exciting then that!

  • this video tells us that the best time to acquire presents is when asset protection in busy rolling around on the floor with male shoplifters.

  • @csmpeoil bahahahah~Thats funny!

  • Nice afgalex congrats on being a minion of the corporations. Enjoy your micro chip in the future ^_^

  • ur mom was in my case biatch!

  • u had 2 pick the gayest song possible haha.

  • Once caught as much force as necessary should be use If I owned a business I would hire

Matial artists to deal with them with the express orders to hurt them if they try to fight back.

  • Shoplifting is bad, but only in Anglo countries you will see store employees going THAT far. Using force against a thief is reserved to law enforcement...I bet the employee got a star on his forehead, or did he become a regional manager for doing that?

  • @gegoameric

I'm pretty sure that anywhere in the world you can chase down a thief and use force to stop him, but it has to be reasonable. In the US, you can't legally hurt a shoplifter unless he tries to hurt you. If a store injures or kills somebody for the sake of a mere piece of merchandise, they can be held responsible.

  • Im sorry but dont be pretty sure. In France, Mexico and Italy, a shoplifter cannot be stopped using force by any civilian, not even Store security, unless the person has a gun or does hurt someone (which falls in defending oneself rather than being granted the right to stopa thief). does this work? ,,, I guess not, retailers insist they have huge losses due to that ''crime''

  • I'm sorry, but that's a stupid policy that just isn't fair to the merchant.

If you have witnesses and recorded video evidence that shows somebody concealing an item, you maintain continuous visual contact with the subject to ensure he didn't perhaps have a change of heart and discard the item while still inside the store, you see him leaving the store with it, and you don't use any excessive force when you confront him, then there is no reason why it should be wrong to physically stop him.
