It would be great if there is a movie or a documentation of you guys out there. Was there any interest from television in the past? My father also climbs sometimes but these trees are by far smaller than these. I also tried and enjoyed it. But the things you do in your videos are a true challenge. I would like to do that too.
Now I really want a 60 meter boom truck. That looks like the greatest job ever. How many years did you have to spike and flip before they let you into the boom truck?
I sure will miss climbing alot - its all I knew my whole life....thanks again for sharing your great vids and thanks for listening to my story too... be safe out there guys and I know with your experience... you always expect the unexpected....Do a complete job briefing to all crew members of each new jobs hazzards - PEACE !! Oh ?? By the way ?? Where are you guys located at - what state ??
I used to climb and bucket everyday since when I was 24 yrs old - thats when I got my start with the Davey Tree Expert co.... I am since retired from tree work and healthwise will never be able to climb or bucket ever again... On April 28th, 2011, I was diagnossed with a Primary Spine Tumor/ Level 3 located in my thoracic spinal cord overlapping T2 and T3. surgery is scheduled in 3 wks. I will be put back together with Titanium Rods and screws - Never to climb again says the Doc -
Absolutely fantastic !! Well done my fellow tree dogg !! And I especially love the fact on how safety oriented you guys are over at ACE Tree service !! It sure would've been nice to have that 60 meter Bucket/platform on a few of the jobs weve been on ?? Like the time our 75 footer/EL-14 elevator was at full reach and I had to throw on my spikes and saddle/ climb up about another 25 or 30 ft or so and butt catch the remaining top out of a good sized 110 foot red oak here in Ohio - thanks steve

this would be much better with more commentary, and no music. that music really makes it unbearable.
on mute, it looks great, and i should say your videos are great, as i'm trying to learn as much as i can from people who know what they're doing. keep up the good work, and keep the videos coming!
Have been watching your videos over some time, awesome stuff. Worked with Vic Bijl at Southwestern Professional Tree Service at Bridgetown, WA, some 10 years ago. Even then, Husqvarna was the name of the game. As to the size of the trees,we did some of the same stuff, but didn't have access to the type of skylift your'e operating today. Max 32 meters. Did deadwoodening at the treetop walk in Walpole during Olympics 2000, lots of spectators.

This is a truly awesome video. Thank's for posting.
One question is why do you tie the top of the tree before every cut?
Is it to stabilize it or to pull the falling section away from the bucket?
