I quite like this course! The fun I have with the arcade version of the courses in this game is trying to figure out what each background is supposed to be! It looks you start in New York and go across the Great Plains and past the Rockies to the Southwest and then to Cali, then down to Mexico for the last four stages. Talk about cross country!
I really love this game, I just wish I were better at it. What controller did you use for this run and you others? I really enjoy watching them all :^)
Thanks for all your comments you've posted on my Hang-On videos. I really appreciate this kind of feedback.
I know what you mean about trying to figure out the different backgrounds :D I remember when I played this game as a kid, on the Genesis, and I didn't quite have the skill to reach the later stages, but I always wanted to reach the next checkpoint to see what the new background would be.
I used the D-pad of the Xbox 360 controller for all of the courses, except for the Europe course, and "Hang-On" - which I decided to use the analog stick.
Let's see, it starts off in New York, then it goes to... um, Alabama? After that I'm guessing it goes to Washington State, Nevada, Hawaii, um... I guess Denver, then finally Alberta or British Columbia.
2:52--ouch! btw, don't I remember you from when you first posted this run through the senior course and the other two courses (beginner and junior)? I think you are the person formerly known as LaFemmeFataleNikita or something similar, aren't you?
Yeah, you're right mate. Well remembered. I was LaFemmeFataleNikita, and posted these videos before. I changed my accounts once I found out how to re-open my old IWantBritneySpears account.
Thanks again for your comments on my Super Hang-On videos. It is comments from good people like yourself, that makes it all the more worthwhile making these videos.
You have some skills in the 5-6 stage that I would have never tried. o_O Hats off to you, sir... well, if I had a hat.
I seriously want this game/emulator. The Genesis version pales in comparison... even though the Original Mode allows you to customize the Arcade Mode bike.
I used to spend hours playing the Original Mode when I was a kid. It was exciting when each time I'd finish a race and get enough money to buy a new engine or mechanic.
I was enjoying the Genesis version last year on the Gens emulator, then I later found out about Mame and I played this. I was amazed at just how much faster the game is and the controls are super responsive.
Btw, if you enjoyed this video, I've just uploaded the Expert course.
I found out about MAME too, but I can't get it to work for some reason. DX It's one thing to watch it, but watching it's sure making me want to play it for myself. Especially since the game runs so much better!
Thanks. Yeah it's a pain when that happens. On Expert, the roads are so narrow, that it's a given that you'll be knocked into an obstacle if you collide with another bike.
The arcade version is so much smoother (at 60 frames per second), and faster than the Genesis version - which is to be expected. Also, being an arcade game (and an old Sega arcade game at that), it is very difficult to beat.
@Jaggrh - lol, is that all you could come up with "you suck" ?. So much for constructive criticism.
It's funny how a year after I made this video, that no one has posted a video of the Senior course being completed (or even the Junior course for that matter). Did you ever wonder why? Of course you didn't, because you don't know what you're talking about, which is obvious from your pathetic comment.
Btw, if you think you can do better - post a video response :) Let's see who sucks at this game :)
Great run. I hate it when you hit another bike and it ricochets you into an obstacle like what happened at 4:50. The arcade version of this game seems much better than the Genesis version.
nice game

@SereneNightmare7734 You have to love the crashes in this game. I love the fact that the guy just gets back on the bike again...somehow.

No, Jaggrh, you suck as this game, because you weren't good enough to prove it in a video response. ;D

That's cold! Let's see you try the Europe course WITHOUT crashing! We'll see who sucks then, won't we...?

Nice quality and skills. I always sucked at this, After Burner and Enduro Racer. This is the only way I'm gonna see the end of those games.
