I really wanted to apply to this university and play in its drumline until I realized how unskilled southern and east coast drumlines are. Southern California seems to be the only place about technicality. All these drumlines play are just rhythms. UCLA Bruins Drumline FTW!
@keymaster2 you've not done much research then. GT has a phenominal drumline. USF has been playing 60's from the Blue Devils and SCV for a few years. FSU has always been famous for notey grooves. I expected to see some notes and some players from the boston crusaders here at BU, but like you I was surprised. don't blanket the east coast with "bad." It's inaccurate.
iagree with tlcham23, this cadence repeats & its not very long, if its going to repeat it needs to be longer. my high school's cadence is longer & better.
@tlcham23 Depends. Some cadences are for marching onto the field and this one is a great one for that. Our cadence is simle and short and it's played like 3 times when we march on the feild but it'sa great one to pump us all up

I notice the tenor line at some points had the wrong sticking, the tenors are too low, and one of them was playing with snare sticks?

those tenors are pretty low, gotta raise those, you dont play facing down at an angle...keep it steady

not to be a pain,but it seems to be a short candence that repeats itself. Our cadence is wayyyyyy longer, it's around about 8 minutes long
