  • Most of Ludovico's songs are in the same key (especially in the Le Onde book) and he links them all together in parts. Some may call it repetitive. I think he's a very clever man who makes very beautiful music.

  • Lovely to follow this intonations of this piece now I have been given the music for Christmas!!

    Thanks

  • Start at 4:30 for orgasm.

  • Mesmerising

  • one word- Amazing!

  • haha thanks for thumps up (:

pretty dumb and funny mistake xd

  • Roses are gray.

    Violets are gray.

    I am a dog.

  • i agree with you, xmaster2

  • Særdeles kan man vel kanskje si. ;)

  • How can you possibly dislike this? :S

  • Fabulous!

(My daughter is learning to play this tune on her piano.)

  • @Invernesssoul How old is your daughter?

  • @Invernesssoul How old is your daughter? and where did she get the music piece?

  • @predatedfob I have the Le Onde piano book and it has this piece i it. try looking on Amazon.

  • Breakdown of the people who disliked this:

Person 1: The song was so beautiful that he died and, in dying, fell facefirst onto the mouse and accidentally clicked 'dislike'.

Person 2: Is deaf and wasn't aware that music was playing. His rating was based solely on the visual input.

Person 3: Dislikes what he cannot understand.

Person 4: ...Crack cocaine is one hell of a drug.

  • @malus40 not sure about person 2 , he clearly had no inputs so he just choosed random action lol

  • who here can imagine this song with a violin and the piano?

  • @iamronidog I play violin (currently Grade 7) and my mum plays piano. We've tried this before, and the first 1 min 40 works really, really nicely. After that it becomes to 'piano-y' for the violing to play (It just doesn't work). What you can play is great though :D

  • @LostProfiteroles Awesome

  • this is such a fun piece to play on the piano, though still haven't got close to mastering the middle bit of the song.

  • this is such a fun piece to play on the piano

  • Beautiful Music - but i have heard a different version of this song with lyrics something like ( and then they came running at 2:45 - 2:50 ish) please someone has to know it its driving me mad but in the main time this is great! :D

  • youtube : "Prima di dormire "beautiful music !!!!

  • haha! i had this song stuck in my head the whole day :) its great

  • the begining reminds me a little bit He`s a Pirate theme from Pirates of Caribbean

  • In questa notte gioiosa

    lente sono le carezze

    dolci sono i baci

    ed i sussurri ritmici

    ci portano a scandire

tutta sete che di noi abbiamo

    mentre queste ciglia socchiuse

    sorridono incontrandosi

  • this song is really amazing... im playing this for 3 weeks now, but every time i think i've made progress, i listen to the master himself. And the i realize how much work i still have got left:P

  • My friend played this for a piano recital in fron of about 200 people. It was amazing to see her body move in such passion and beauty to match the music.

    Much love Einaudi

  • amazing :) great :) brilliant :) ahhh

  • you are very talented man... I have discovered you recently but fastly you and your music went into my heart... i love you Einaudi

  • My favorite song from Einaudi

  • Ludovico Einaudi has been blessed with amazing talent. All of his pieces, all of his work is beautiful and harmonious. This piece in particular is a perfect example of his versatility and style. The soft and lilting start of "Questa Notte" makes me want to sing and dance through the air, then in the large and dramatic crescendo in the middle of the piece and again after a dimuendo for a short time.

  • He is truly a genius and artist, which is quite evident through his amazing work.

My favourite Modern Composer I must admit.

  • I have dreamed of this.

  • one of my fav songs to play...you can play this with passion and heart all the way..Einaudi is truly an artist

  • Really hurts my hand playing this xD

  • @xxTimeandSpacexx I feel you!

  • oh, this is SO SO SO SO SO beautiful!!!!!!! i love listening to his music it fills me with a sort of peace and expectancy!

  • i can play this :) it's so relaxing... i love questa notte

  • I just clicked on this randomly out of your list but I've heard this before, I didn't know it was him and liked it...it all seems to be Einaudi ! ;)x

  • Does anyone know who is actually playing this recording? Is it Einuadi or someone else?

I'm curious because at 2:30 it doesn't match up with the sheet music.

    Lovely piece anyways.

  • @killedbyAP Naudi himself. He likes to throw a few turns in to keep you guessing. Neat huh?

  • I have noticed the exact same thing on the official CD recording of this! As he plays the 'rif' or whatever exactly the same as the beginning but it is different on the sheet music!

    Either way though, beautiful :)

  • You can never quite beat the magic of a single piano, or a violin, in the hands of a talented musician. Really. A lot more beauty and impressive composition than the majority of mainsteam will ever be. Don't get me wrong, I love a bit of Lady Gaga and Madonna. But they'll never have what classical music has. And that's "Beauty and Class".

  • @xmaster2 ahh perfectly said. we all enjoy the few hits here and there, but this is the stuff :)

  • Love it!

  • I love Einaudi but i find it funny when he starts playing le onde in this every so often!! :)

  • Nah....really????? the whole idea of this piece is to show that you can have that many variations on a theme, which, in this case, is Le Onde

  • @cancretto1985: a me è venuta la tendinite a causa di questo pezzo ;_;

  • I like it.

  • Brilliant

  • I was prompted to listen to this song after my favourite musician siobhan donaghy mentioned that this was her favourite song, and what a beautiful piece it is!

  • he's great, i love his music, i'm playing this piece too, it's fantastic!

  • Questo pezzo 1:42 assomiglia all'inizio de Le Onde

  • VERISSIMO

  • Très très belle musique.. ♥

  • I just love Einaudi. Gr8 song. really

  • bellissima musica.

  • this is one of my favourites by him :) I've been playing it for a while now. It's beautiful and worth the effort.

  • it's a beautiful song, especially by the fast fart of the song

  • The first fart?

    rofl

  • he he you said fart

  • @auknelia i think you mean "fast part of the song" lol (i understood what you meant though)

  • @auknelia sorry, i know you didn't type it on purpose, but i hád to laugh about you commenting 'the fast Fart' of the song. I know i'm a child :')

  • @Sabo0w Ha the F is quite far away from the P on the keyboard, must be used to typing it :)

  • @auknelia I love how this got so many ups when it says fart, because we all can settle with the fact that we know what you meant to say even though it says something quite funny! Well I agree as well! Thats why I uped you tooo lol

  • @auknelia he he fast fart!!

  • @auknelia Love fast farts.

  • this song is amazing

  • 3:19 is from his tune le onde.......

Love the piece, what books it from, cant find it anywhere

  • Hehehe you noticed.

Are you taking about Questa Notte?

  • the best of ludovico einaudi, black cover with his face in black and white :)

  • Hahahh you can teach me Spanish then xx

  • I´m very poor at English... but....I try to learn moreeee and moooreee every day XDD

    Kissesssss ^^

  • i've just finishing teaching myself this on the piano...obviously nowhere near the standard of einauldi but it has to be my favourite piece i've ever played and i've been playing piano for 18 years!

  • I lvoe this piece so much. Just a quick question-is it also in I Giorni?

  • No, this is a song from Le Onde, I Giorni is another album.

  • I love this piece so much and admire anone who can play it and get to the end with out their arm falling off! I've had to start going to the gym to get stronger because around 4:29 my triplets go out the window and die!

Is this actually him playing this though cause when the main tune comes back in after the first fast bit, its different to how it's written in the book... However, my piano teacher says that he does shange things as he's playing it x

  • I know how you feel xD

once i had to play this in a full church 0_o

and to top it off it was winter to... i just managed to play it but i had to slow down =P

  • sorry -- i meant to press the thums up thing =s xx

  • is this actually him playing???

  • i actually dont know, i think it is but im not sure if it's einaudi

  • yes it is, i saw it in a book from him with all his sheet music.

  • I love this peice so much, playing and listening!!

  • Es Genial... no hay otro como Ludovico ^^

  • I could actually understand you PUTOskinhead69!! I'm getting better at Spanish!! I love Ludovico he is an inspiration to a failing piano player!!

  • Is this you playing, or the maestro (einaudi) himself?

  • *sigh* this is one of my faves from him ^^

It's so hard to get the timeing right when playing it tho! T_T

  • I had to do this on piano class, real fucking hard

  • zomg it IS! He must have hand muscles of STEEL to get that fast bit! lol

  • magnificent. once again einaudi has created a great work of art
