The video angle makes it look a lot slower than it is. That is really fast. However, in Ultimate, your change of direction speed is what really matters mostly.

I don't think anyone's pointed this out yet, but 40s in the combine are hand timed so there's a reaction time of the timer involved. This is taken to be 0.24 seconds. This is laser timed so there's no delay on the timer. A 4.64 by Ken would be timed as 4.40 in the NFL combine, which isn't setting records but is faster than many wide receivers.

@Challe337 Official 40 yard dash times at the Combine have been done with lasers in the last few years. If you watch live, they usually give you hand timed then later produce the official FAT(Laser) times

INTERESTING DATA FROM THIS TESTING:

-This was Ken's 2nd attempt. He ran 4.64s on his first try. Therefore, the record for Ultimate is 4.64s (laser timed).

-Brower Timing System

-Second fastest time was Axis Sivitz w. 4.73s

-KPS traditional bilateral Vertical (Vertec) is 33.5"

@OwnTheSkyVlog You can't say he is definitively the fastest guy in Ultimate. 4.64 laser timed is very fast especially on grass, but all you can say of this video is it is the "fastest recorded laser time for an Ultimate player" by Morrill Performance. This doesn't necessarily mean this guy is the "Fastest Man in Ultimate Frisbee." This time just means he is the fastest timed that YouTube knows of. There may be others out there with faster laser timed recordings and I'm sure there are.
