Okiedoke...card is addressed and ready to go out in tomorrow's mail. I was really happy to find JUST the right card & sentiment to send. I also popped in a picture of one of the REALLY red trees from last weekend in Napa. :)
@IWalk4tnt Wow Sandi -that's so cool. She'll love the red tree too; having missed most of the fall where she lives. The view from her window includes ficus trees that don't seem to change. When she came here the gardeners had just been here and cleaned up all the leaves! So she will like that a lot. Thank you!

@veolettina No kidding; Mom died at 73, Dad a few days after his 80th, so Aunt Jean has done really well. She was totally independent until the stroke; she was on her way home from a cruise when it hit her in La Guardia Airport in NYC. She's lucky to have survived it at all, so every day after is a gift!!! Thank you so much; she'll appreciate it a great deal.
Well, we will be sending a card, but not sure we can add to the wonderful geography lesson ... since ours will be from about 15 miles westward (Pasadena).
@jrt31169 :) She'll enjoy that too. She and I have spent a couple of days a few years ago, mooching around old Pasadena. We looked at an assisted living place for her and went to visit some churches there; she really likes Pasadena but ended up not choosing to move from Glendora until the stroke forced the issue.
