@nblevin well you had to been there he just slid off a steep hill side thats where he ended up been working with Don for 20 years .it was the middle of winter . sorry you didnt like the vid dont make a shit to me what you think.oh by the way thats a370 link belt nice machine
@dirtylilloggersgirl- I think you might have replied to the wrong comment. My comment was directed towards idahologger who said this was the most unproductive way to log. By all means I liked your video.
@idahologger25- Your high on drugs. Shovel logging is the cheapest, most productive way to log. I would love to see a yarder get more wood. We move a half million board feet+ a week no problem.
Damn tree hugger ! What gives you the idea this timber harvest will become a corn field? Second, were do you get the idea this harvest is of ancient trees? I bet you live in a house made of wood and you wipe your ass every day right? Before you trash talk logging, think of life with no wood products.
do you want Oregon to look like Wisconsin or Minnesota, maybe take a trip to the Midwest and check out the beautiful corn fields that used to be forest, and image your rolling mountains of twigs.
Sounds great, way better than ancient forest, some of the last in America.
if mother nature is great at anything ,, she can sure grow trees ,, relax , stop believing the liberal machine ,, there is more timber available today than ever
BS we have tons of virgin forest! 3/4 of all the wooded land in the USA is locked up in national forests, parks, set asides, reserves. The point is you want it all and you try putting fear into the public eye that there's non left. STOP IT !
There is a place between Clatskanie and Rainier, Oregon where 100 years ago every single last tree was cut down. I don't see any treeless prairies now, I see lots and lots of trees.
these stupid comments come from people who never done this kind of work or are "super loggers"....NICE WORK
