@woodwin00111 The chakra of Butterfly Choji is obviously a lot higher than when Nine Tailed Naruto fought Neji. If you read the manga you would see how much Choji's Butterfly Chakra has increased mainly because he can use it at will now. Just like the Byakugan the Butterfly Chakra is a clan jutsu and so far Choji is the only one that's perfected it. If Neji was so strong than he would have been put in the frontlines like Ino and Choji but that's not the case.
@jmeny14 I have read the manga, and I was referring to when we first saw choji use his butterfly form. Choji became stronger and so hasn't Neji and you don't know for sure that mass amounts of chakra can overcome shutting off chakra points, you're making assumption from what you saw with naruto and he only did that because he had a second supply of chakra that was not shut off. Sure having a lot of chakra is nice but it's not everything in a battle.
@woodwin00111 A lot of chakra isn't the only thing that choji has, he also has super speed that exceeds past the human eye, super strength, plus he has the ability expand which makes him unstopable. His butterfly chakra pretty much has the same results as Luffy's gears in One Piece. The byakugan is only good for seeking out opponents it's not really a fighting tool as you can see that the Hyuga's aren't top class fighters. I just believe that Neji's highly overrated while Choji is underrated.
@jmeny14 I've never seen Choji move that fast in the manga or the anime show. And the byakugan is used to locate chakra points to shut off chakra which in my book seems like a pretty useful tool in fighting. It even said earlier in the naruto series the the hyuga clan was one of the most powerful clans next to the uchia, which if you ask me neji is not the overrated one and sasuke is. I've never seen neji boasted about besides during the chunin exams. And neji's rotation defense can't be beat.
@woodwin00111 Well Sasuke could easily destroy Neji so he's not overrated there but he is overrated at a lot of points. Neji has never faced a person that takes him head on besides Naruto so you can't really say that his rotation defense can't be beat. If the Byakugan was so useful then how come they ever use it in any of the big fights? Neji's 8 trigrams palm rotation is only useful against projectiles which won't stop Choji considering that his wings are the size of an entire battlefield now.
@jmeny14 Sasuke killed his brother then stole his eyes to destroy the thing he wanted to protect, he's just overrated in general. And yes he has, he hasn't been involved in anything lately but that doesn't mean he hasn't been taken head on. His rotation protected him from naruto back then when he was still a genin now he's that much stronger and so isn't his rotation. And he always uses his byakugan in big fights, in any fight, and he can also see almost 360 degrees which is a nice advantage.

Choji really has 2 power sources just like naruto considering that the food pill gives him a huge boost so the same scenario with Naruto will happen again with Choji. Choji will get beat up a little and then he'll use the butterfly chakra and destroy Neji. Unlike Neji Choji's figured out how to stop his negative side effects but Neji still loses a lot of eyesight if he uses byakugan for too long.
@jmeny14 Naruto didn't show anything just, he came up from under him when he wasn't using his byakugan, and the only thing that kidomaru showed was how hard it is just to find his one blind spot. There was one chapter where they showed an adult huga using the full power of rotation back when orochimaru invaded, which was a rather large tornado formed rotation, I'm guessing that could protect him from choji and knock him back a little even in his expanded form.

Until I see Neji do something impressive such as beat defeat his father I have no reason to believe that he can beat somebody such as butterfly Choji because he's proved that he's a force to be reckoned with.

I've seen multiple occasions where he's knocked back people above the rank of a jonin even. And he can't defeat his father because his father is dead already. How has Choji proved himself, he helped take out asuma after standing around for 3 chapters and then when he did use expansion WITH his father against the golem they were both knocked back.

@jmeny14 Choji is barely shown doing anything with Aktsuki and feel free to prove me wrong. He barely did anything in the pain arc besides get blown around and deliver a message. And the fight with Asuma is pretty much the only fight he is shown in. Neji helps fight kisame when looking for garra and many more I don't feel like looking up and you know it. Hinata for 1 isn't as strong as Neji and for 2 never got a chance to hit him because his push technique.Choji would have just been blown away.

Choji had more panel time and scored more hits against the likes of Kazuku, Pein, Edo and Asuma, than Neji did against Kisame or the entire part II so far.

Now, nobody is selling Neji as useless, so i don`t see the need to use stuff like finding out the Akatsuki`s hideout.Only that combat related, Choji has outgrown Neji in feats.

If Naruto knew rasengan at the time Neji's rotation tactic would have been useless. Actually the best defense in the series is Orochimaru's Rashomon which makes Neji's rotation look like shit.

Based on how this went I believe that this was after the Sasuke retrival arc and it happened during the timeskip between Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Yes Neji has probably improved a lot after this but Neji is one of those characters that will never progress and are deep in the background like Ten Ten, Kankuro, Kiba, Shino, etc.

@deadkid999 The Kaioken is a power that Goku learned on King Kai's planet(which is the God of the northern galaxy in DBZ pretty much) which it allows him to multiply his power(highest he can multiply his power so far is about 20 times) which is pretty much what Choji does with the food pills. Choji doesn't need the food pills to go butterfly mode anymore because he improved his chakra control and can now use the butterfly mode without any side effects which is why I think Choji is better.

@kecskef6 Yes I agree that Choji USE to be one of the weakest characters in Naruto but now in Naruto Shippuden with the help of the revived Asuma in the shinobi war against the immortal shinobi Choji has mastered the Butterfly Jutsu and has now become as one of the strongest characters in the series. Of course he's not as strong as the core characters such as Naruto or Sasuke but he does have a number on Neji but I'm pretty sure Neji will show us something new against his father later on.

@woodwin00111 The chakra of Butterfly Choji is obviously a lot higher than when Nine Tailed Naruto fought Neji. If you read the manga you would see how much Choji's Butterfly Chakra has increased mainly because he can use it at will now. Just like the Byakugan the Butterfly Chakra is a clan jutsu and so far Choji is the only one that's perfected it. If Neji was so strong than he would have been put in the frontlines like Ino and Choji but that's not the case.

@jmeny14 I have read the manga, and I was referring to when we first saw choji use his butterfly form. Choji became stronger and so hasn't Neji and you don't know for sure that mass amounts of chakra can overcome shutting off chakra points, you're making assumption from what you saw with naruto and he only did that because he had a second supply of chakra that was not shut off. Sure having a lot of chakra is nice but it's not everything in a battle.

@woodwin00111 A lot of chakra isn't the only thing that choji has, he also has super speed that exceeds past the human eye, super strength, plus he has the ability expand which makes him unstopable. His butterfly chakra pretty much has the same results as Luffy's gears in One Piece. The byakugan is only good for seeking out opponents it's not really a fighting tool as you can see that the Hyuga's aren't top class fighters. I just believe that Neji's highly overrated while Choji is underrated.

@jmeny14 I've never seen Choji move that fast in the manga or the anime show. And the byakugan is used to locate chakra points to shut off chakra which in my book seems like a pretty useful tool in fighting. It even said earlier in the naruto series the the hyuga clan was one of the most powerful clans next to the uchia, which if you ask me neji is not the overrated one and sasuke is. I've never seen neji boasted about besides during the chunin exams. And neji's rotation defense can't be beat.

@woodwin00111 Well Sasuke could easily destroy Neji so he's not overrated there but he is overrated at a lot of points. Neji has never faced a person that takes him head on besides Naruto so you can't really say that his rotation defense can't be beat. If the Byakugan was so useful then how come they ever use it in any of the big fights? Neji's 8 trigrams palm rotation is only useful against projectiles which won't stop Choji considering that his wings are the size of an entire battlefield now.

@jmeny14 Sasuke killed his brother then stole his eyes to destroy the thing he wanted to protect, he's just overrated in general. And yes he has, he hasn't been involved in anything lately but that doesn't mean he hasn't been taken head on. His rotation protected him from naruto back then when he was still a genin now he's that much stronger and so isn't his rotation. And he always uses his byakugan in big fights, in any fight, and he can also see almost 360 degrees which is a nice advantage.

Choji really has 2 power sources just like naruto considering that the food pill gives him a huge boost so the same scenario with Naruto will happen again with Choji. Choji will get beat up a little and then he'll use the butterfly chakra and destroy Neji. Unlike Neji Choji's figured out how to stop his negative side effects but Neji still loses a lot of eyesight if he uses byakugan for too long.

@jmeny14 Naruto didn't show anything just, he came up from under him when he wasn't using his byakugan, and the only thing that kidomaru showed was how hard it is just to find his one blind spot. There was one chapter where they showed an adult huga using the full power of rotation back when orochimaru invaded, which was a rather large tornado formed rotation, I'm guessing that could protect him from choji and knock him back a little even in his expanded form.

Until I see Neji do something impressive such as beat defeat his father I have no reason to believe that he can beat somebody such as butterfly Choji because he's proved that he's a force to be reckoned with.

I've seen multiple occasions where he's knocked back people above the rank of a jonin even. And he can't defeat his father because his father is dead already. How has Choji proved himself, he helped take out asuma after standing around for 3 chapters and then when he did use expansion WITH his father against the golem they were both knocked back.

Tell me where you see Neji when there isn't any FILLER. It was never stated that the Hyuga can block ALL chakra if they could then Hinata would have mopped the floor with Pain but you saw what happened. @jmeny14 Choji is barely shown doing anything with Aktsuki and feel free to prove me wrong. He barely did anything in the pain arc besides get blown around and deliver a message. And the fight with Asuma is pretty much the only fight he is shown in. Neji helps fight kisame when looking for garra and many more I don't feel like looking up and you know it. Hinata for 1 isn't as strong as Neji and for 2 never got a chance to hit him because his push technique.Choji would have just been blown away.

Neji hit a clone with no indication of any internal damage (the clone was up with no injury). You don`t need to remember every time he was shown. It was considerably less than Choji or Shikamaru.
Now, nobody is selling Neji as useless, so i don`t see the need to use stuff like finding out the Akatsuki`s hideout.Only that combat related, Choji has outgrown Neji in feats.

Neji would have been blown away as well because he isn't in the same league as Asuma or Choji Neji's rotation is a pretty a weak jutsu that only protects him from projectiles. If Naruto knew rasengan at the time Neji's rotation tactic would have been useless. Actually the best defense in the series is Orochimaru's Rashomon which makes Neji's rotation look like shit.

Based on how this went I believe that this was after the Sasuke retrival arc and it happened during the timeskip between Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Yes Neji has probably improved a lot after this but Neji is one of those characters that will never progress and are deep in the background like Ten Ten, Kankuro, Kiba, Shino, etc.

Choji is actually very deep in the background because he was in the group of a guy who was the son of the third Hokage and was in the guardian shinobi twelve. Neji barely gets any screen time considering he was only briefly shown in every arc that he was in except for the Sasuke retrival arc. Choji easily gets more screen time than Neji.

@deadkid999 The Kaioken is a power that Goku learned on King Kai's planet(which is the God of the northern galaxy in DBZ pretty much) which it allows him to multiply his power(highest he can multiply his power so far is about 20 times) which is pretty much what Choji does with the food pills. Choji doesn't need the food pills to go butterfly mode anymore because he improved his chakra control and can now use the butterfly mode without any side effects which is why I think Choji is better.

@kecskef6 Yes I agree that Choji USE to be one of the weakest characters in Naruto but now in Naruto Shippuden with the help of the revived Asuma in the shinobi war against the immortal shinobi Choji has mastered the Butterfly Jutsu and has now become as one of the strongest characters in the series. Of course he's not as strong as the core characters such as Naruto or Sasuke but he does have a number on Neji but I'm pretty sure Neji will show us something new against his father later on.
