I switched back to the normal manual transmission due to problems with the swiss authorities.
But KAPS has meanwhile developped an hydraulic clutch, which can be used together with the SSS I had on my car. Just Google for SEQUENTIAL SHIFTING SYSTEM+KAPS
@cyrrustvirus - you've presumably had the system a couple of years now, is it still working OK?
I'd love to find one of these "H" pattern adapters that dips the clutch too; shouldn't be difficult to do with a hydraulic clutch. If it killed/blipped the throttle at the same time, then it'd almost be like having a real sequential...
@reagnet1 You must use the clutch still, it just removes H pattern shifting, so you can't miss a gear and you can shift faster. If you watch clutchless shifting, that's a whole sequential tranny -- that's probably around 20-30,000 EUR ;-) You can do a poor man's setup if you put in dog gears ... you would then only have to clutch it when you shift down, you wouldn't need to do it shifting up.
I am interested, how much is it for a b series application as presented on the site?
