Aw I love when amy says: ''I've waited my whole life to be kissed. And what if i miss it? And then he says '' I promise, to kiss you, before you die''. OMGGGGGGGGGG i just died. It's so cute <3
After seeing this as a kid, and rereading it, and watching this trailer now, I'm going... "oh shit, it's Batman! Oh shit, it's the spy from Homeland! Oh shit, it's Susan Sarandon! Duuuuude!"
But this is really a great film and a great book. Aaaahhhh <3 <3 <3
@elboo14 "Teddy" is Laurie's real name. They called him "Laurie" as a shortened version of his last name "Laurence". His real name was Theodore Laurence in the book and movie.
If you read the book, you see that Laurie actually belonged truly with Amy. Their relationship develops much more slowly and deeply. They had a romantic love, whereas Jo and Laurie had a brother/sister love.
I remember when this came out, I wanted to see it, but I didn't. I was/am afraid it'll ruin the book for me.
Those of you who have read the book and seen the movie: did they do a good job? It looks good on here, even though they changed his name to Teddy. (I guess that's forgivable.)
@333Raina- Definitely see the film. It is beautiful and will make you cry and cry. They didn't change Laurie's name in this film, "Teddy" is their nickname for him.
It's kind of annoying how Amy got the best of everything. I mean, I think her sisters deserved more -- Beth especially. But no, she was the one who got to see Europe, marry Laurie and end up mistress to the Laurence fortune. I wish Jo got it instead.
@16lilmissm Jo did get the best, she found the happiness she wanted. And getting the "best of everything" doesn't mean getting a fortune or having a big house, sometimes it may be the smallest thing in the world, but it means the world to the person who has it.
@emildaish I know. I still don't get why on earth the author didn't make them turn out together. I think though that possibly her morale of the story was to show people that in reality, friends don't always end up with each other even if they were of the opposite sexes.
@emildaish i felt the same when i first saw it! but got used to the idea and saw the beauty of it! jo never cared about money but amy always did! and evn though theres a massive age gap she had a crush on teddy for ages so it was quite nice to see them get married! guess i'm just a romantic at heart and want the best for everyone!...evn if they are fictional! lol
Лори и Джо подходят друг другу! А Эми нет! и старый профессор тоже не подходит!

I love how this old school trailer ruins every single twist and turn of the story.
