From my understanding, people in England are obsessed with driving faster than others and have all these little micro competitions.
That's a very bad idea with ice and snow. If people are hot headed, then there are likely problems with some people driving too slow and other angry people intentionally want to demonstrate aggressive behavior and leave them in the dust (snow).
Anyway, in Canada these are not major winter conditions at all.

wait is this alot? in buffalo, NY we get that much every couple a days. a couple years ago we got 7 ft in a few days.
