this is so true! it's all about the dance-ability of the music. When i finally get good enough to play some places I want to get people dancing and the way you add drive here totally makes me want to get up and start boppin around! Thanks. I do some of those suggestions 'instinctively'. But really, I do them because I've listened and practiced making what I want to hear happen.

Having you articulate the various routes to getting drive is helpful. Gives me a lot to have fun working/playing on.
