the phone we sell comes with iNEX hypersim so it will work with any GSM carrier. the phone can not do mms or internet. yes it can be used as an mp3 player.

to clarify something, the waterproof works like a charm. i answer my phone and text while in the shower since i got it 6 weeks ago. i video record in the water park too which was awesome. yep it all works, but make sure the side is fully close and the back is in lock. ^^ after that, throw it on a body of water. ^^

You need a sim card from at&t or t-mobile to be able to get service. We do not have the P-01A at the moment but we do have 1 more Silver P906i in stock.

I think there is one hypersim on eBay that does not require you to cut your hypersim.

Usually all Japanese phones have keyhole slots. (iWould say it does)

It does not have an inscreen camera (To my knowledge). I think MMS will work only(If you are planning to unlock it MMS will not work) if you have a friend in Japan who will sign a DoCoMo contract, but you would have to pay roaming charges.

I would check out Howard Forums(where I get most of my knowledge) and look under Japanese Phones, there is one thread about a guy to just got this phone

Sorry for the late reply. most hypersim you need to cut your sim card. there is no harm in cutting your sim card and you can use it in any other phones. This phone is fully unlocked already. and as you know mms wont work no matter what you do with it since the internet function on this phone does not work. all the phone i sell is unlocked already and will come with the hypersim and charger. i hope that helps.

Oh dear, I may have given you false information!

I just got my first keitai (Japanese phone) and it has an internal camera, but I did not know until I bought it, so this phone may also have an internal and external camera. If it does, then you can probably see a little hole on top of it, which I think I see, so I think it does have an internal camera!

How did the phone feel in comparison with a 906i/905i/920sh? Thinking about getting one.. I like how the 920sh and 905i felt. Felt smooth and solid and the buttons felt nice to text on. The 906i on the other hand felt kind of rough/blocky and I made typing mistakes with the keypad. It might have been the depth of the phone that bothered me (felt flimsy but of course it isnt).

they took out the fingerprint scanner means that its not on the phone anymore. there is no fignerprint scanner on the phone for your password.
