  • 1991 WWF had absolutely no idea what kind of a superstar 1994-1996 Bret Hart was going to be. I love watching Bret's singles breakthrough from 1988 thru 1991. He really took advantage of all the battle royales and royal rumbles

  • No porn stars, no backstage skits, no entrance videos, just wrestling. These days are gone forever, at least we can look back at them.

  • did a game show have that buzzer sound effect when GREG THE HAMMER VALENTINE entered at #3.?

  • The 1991 WWF Royal Rumble Is What First Introduced Me To Both The WWF/E & Pro Wrestling In The First Place. This Is Still One Of The Greatest Rumbles Ever & Every Royal Rumble Has Been An Instant Blast From Start To Finish. Gorilla Monsoon & Hot Rod Rowdy Roddy Piper Were Such A Great Broadcast Team.

I Remember Jumping Right Out Of My Seat When The Whole Arena Erupted As Hulk Came Out. Hulk Hogan Will Always Be The Greatest Of All Time! Sorry Ric Flair, It's Sad But True!

  • agreed leem mk6 but royal rumble 93 was the best in the history

  • It's so cool that they had managers. The manger would escort them to the ring. Wrestling was SO GOOD back then...why the hell did they change it?

  • @HollywoodKendrick they were dying.

  • famous gorilla quote "dropkick and a beauty"

  • Sorry to double post but this ---> 2:30, rofl!!! that is what the royal rumble is all about!!

  • ahhh back when wrestling was good. I like these silly characters so much better than the "cool" modern guys with attitudes and tough guy back stories.

  • Rick Martel waving his hands in the royal rumble when jake roberts got throwing out lol

  • @LeeClaxton at this time, valentine and martel always seemed to fare very well in the royal rumble matches, whether it meant long times or making it to the final 6.

  • this was the first WWF PPV i had ever seen. i was 7 at the time and just got into wrestling. the WWE can never recreate what the WWF had around this time. It was a totally different world back then.

  • Totally agree. The storylines and personalities back then made you tune in every time you could. I just loved Mr. Perfect's interviews

  • @LeeMk6 plus it didnt cost 40 bucks.

  • totally awesome

  • This is my all time favorite Royal Rumble

  • how do you figure that gay guy. First off, the opening match was one of the best tag team matches of all time.

Championship match between Warrior and Slaughter set up the classic match of Warrior vs. Macho at WM 7

Finally the Rumble itself was incredible with Hogan throwing out his old nemesis Earthquake to win the Rumble.

  • gay guy you didn't respond with...anything.

my response to you had substance. with points and fact based knowledge.

yours was based on your hatred of the fact that your dad gets more pussy than you.

  • Too right! That Rockers vs Orient Express is quite possibly one the the best wrestling matches that will ever take place. (and apparantly Marty Jannetys favourite match ever)

And The Rumble match itslef was brilliant. Plus Virgil turning on Ted Dibiase, Slaughter beating Warrior....brilliant.

  • this was the best rumble ever save maybe 1994 when luger and hart hit the floor at the same time...you had every top star in the wwf, martel lasted 56 minutes, bret hart had an impressive showing, the undertaker was in his first rumble. hogan perfect and earthquake at the end...

  • good for you. throw yourself a party.

  • i luv jake the snake

  • Ted Debiasse fucking rules

  • everybody's got a price, but you know his son is nothing his dad the Million Dollar man was slick & suave

  • This was the start of Greg Valentine's face run.

  • notice how Dino Bravo placed his hand on the ring before he got tossed out.

  • Little Known History Fact:Shane Mcmahon is one of the referees on the outside of the ring.I posted this in part one.

  • I love the Hammer he is one of the few wrestlers from Washington state i believe and he is a legend. He's a much better rep than Brian Kendrick

  • Damn. Von Erich looks(and acts) just like the Warrior.

  • is he playing as warrior in this rumble ?

  • no in fact warrior was named "ultimate" after texas tornado was called the modern day warrior. Kerry Von Eric had that style way before the warrior

  • Tony Atlas (Simba) doesn't look good in those pants

  • The buzzer scared the life out of me, as I was listening to the computer at a high volume!!!

  • the new Dream Team going at it @ :12, plus all the guys in the ring have been at least managed by Jimmy Hart, how ironic.

  • why did it only buzzard when the hammer entered the ring then for the rest of them it didnt ???????? :S

  • diffrent buzzard that year and for the rest of the rumble and only rumble match and 1988 as well theres no buzzard

  • theres never been a buzzard in the royal rumble. They dont let birds go in arenas.

  • I dont know why but this made me laugh

  • ha ha

  • @pikkdogs well...besides Frankie, no they haven't.

  • Takes me back to 3rd grade..... Awsome!!!

  • :08 "Can he get hammered?" Gotta love Rowdy Roddy!
