Yes I noticed that the 3M mouts suck in cold weather! I am one if the sponsored rider for GoPro. I was out during one of the races. I mouted it to my helmet in a worm trailer and let it sit over night night.

I think I was out side for about 10 min and the thing fell right off druring the race. Never go hit or took any abuse on the head. I lost my camera for ever becaues we were unable to find it becaues it fell of in the forest area. GoPro decied not to give me a better discount or replace it for the crapy mount failer.

hey iw as thinking abou thte surf idea also but that is an adhesive also and i think it might a lil to fat to fit on my el rey's. i htink it is popping off because of the cold.

Better quality than i have been seeing. Some of the HD Go Pro on you tube are so fuzzy and poor quality. Good to see one getting near HD. Maybe their lenses were dirty.

@PerrisJettison Maybe you weren't seeing GoPro HD video. They have standard def model out prior to this release, I've seen some of those videos and they're OK, but the HD is much better. Plus I heard that YouTube just recently supported 1080P High Def video. So maybe that was some of it too.

true look at my videos. my first video was edited in not HD mod and after i realize how to do it in 720p HD. the difference is way better and it makes me able to uase the super slowmo mod in my edits

if you're referring to the wide angle view, that is the way the GoPro HD camera records, not a mistake in uploading

no, I love the wide angle, that's exacly why I bought this camera! But it's a fact that many people convert their vids wrong for youtube and some information in the video is lost. For this vid it's not the case. Let's see if I do better with my. ^^

Maybe it it would work better to get ridd of the 3Mtape and use epoxy or some other heavyduty glue.. I'm getting my gopro next week and really want this mount too work. btw where on the skis did you put it? on the wery tip?
