@wabitgirl Half decent spike? What other spike can kill someone at such a low percentage? Also fox is more broken than jiggs. He is stupid fast, has unlimited auto cancelled lasers, always has hitboxes out, has a move that comes out in 1 frame and can be jump cancelled, and has an auto combo on everyone (up throw -> up air). Fox can only get more technical (better) as players get faster. Jiggs is still broken, but fox is stupid broken as well. I also like how you added Falcon to your list LOL!

@wabitgirl I have to post again as a Falcon player. Really? Strong spike? That really shows how much you know about Melee. Falcon's dair is NOT a spike, it is a meteor smash (which can get meteor smash cancelled). It is only a spike when it hits at the nipple which is extremely hard to set up. It is almost never better to use his dair off stage than any of his other moves.

I am, in all honesty, not the greatest player at melee, nor have I been at a higher level of play for any decent amount of time (I only recently started gtlitching and so forth.) I hadn't realized, as of two months ago, just how fucking good shine spiking was. I do know that the characters I listed, save marth, only have meteors, unless you nipple spike, but I, obviously, wasn't thinking about that. You are correct on all fronts, and I apologize for the inaccuracies.

@plasticbudgie Nope he quit melee cause he didn't enjoy it as much as 64. Even when he played Ken consistently beat him and he was never particularly dominant in singles (he was in doubles with Ken).

Recently he has actually come back though and currently isn't as good as any of the best 4 falcons proving he is no "god".

The fact that be originally defined the metagame doesn't make him a god. Anyone who originally played Falcon would have naturally defined the metagame assuming they knew the basics of how to play the game. The new falcons have advanced the metagame much further at this point and in general are significantly better at this point.

I agree with the comment below- Germ plays "unfavorably". This is because from what i've seen, Germ does a lot of close range melee combos.

Also, don't compare Marths to Foxes- it doesn't work out that way. You have to consider everything, including speed, drop speed, techniques, etc.
