  • What is the max depth? Where can I get one of this?

Like your the demo. Thanks for posting.

  • @2CUSING ... Google Stevens Tractor Company. A cultivator need only run a couple of inches deep.......Donald

  • @webcajun Thanks the videos! I took your advice, searched out Stavens, and then placed an order there! The only place I've found the right stuff without having to buy a whole "kit". This will complete our gardening attachment set up with a new toolbar to go with the tines / hiller discs / shanks we already have. Should be much better than the old "v" shaped frame cultivator used in previous years which was a pain just because it hung too far out the back of the tractor Thanks Again!.

  • ωπα!...και τόσα χρόνια ψάχναμε τον Μπαρμπα-Στάθη!!

  • Hi, Thanks so much for your videos. After watching your videos we have made several changes in our gardening techniques - - and it is going great so far. We have used a quick hitch and row builder for the first time and just love them. Can you help me with a supplier for the adjustable shank cultivator as we can't find one anywhere. Have been gardening for a long time and just goes to show one is never too old to learn something new! Thanks again. Patricia

  • @dontlooknowu2late ... Hey patricia, Google "Stevens Tractor Company" and they'll have em. Since you're using a quick hitch request they build one for a Standard Cat. 1 quick hitch otherwise the lower pins may not match.....Donald

  • What is that thing with 3 disks about 15 inches across on each side. I thought my grand father used to plow with them and cultivate as well. When he used a mule he had a triangle device with about 50 spikes on it and he had the mule pull it though the field I thought he called that a cultivater as well? He had 2 mules die in about 3 years ans bought a small tracter He would have got one earlier he said. He had run mules since about 1900.

  • @SidneyBou ...I think you're talking about the Row Hippers......Donald

  • can a sweep be used as a to make a furrow after the row is drawn up

  • @mdcrab68 ...May have to change the angle just a bit but it sure could.....Donald

  • Does the toolbar have to be wider than the tractor ? My tractor is 54 " wide, the inside size is 27".

  • @mdcrab68 ...The tool bar I'm using is 60". I set the outside sweeps about center of the rear wheels or maybe just inside that......Donald

  • Nice video webcajun good camera use and clear information.

  • @marshall81174 ... glad you enjoyed and hope it was helpful.........Donald

  • can I ask how big your garden is.. you seem to have enough room to use your tractor between each row.. I have 2 roto tillers that me and my dad use on a garden that is 120'x40' ... i'd love to have one of those tractors, but is there something more other than the ease of gardening to having your garden to where you can run your tractor between rows?

  • @kmaughe ... Skipping a row simply makes it much easier to control weeds / grasses and also makes harvesting a breeze. Corn is one of the few vegetables I don’t skip rows with because of pollination issues. I till approx 2 acres of garden space but usually only have about half of that planted at any one time. This gives me room to plant the fall garden while still having the summer vegetables producing. This year I’m trying something new with the fall garden. Video coming soon.... Donald

  • I love how you threw That Hoe lol

  • @M4PATRIOT ... a hoe is really not my favorite tool but you got to have one around......Donald

  • Cool

  • @guest2424 ... thanks......Donald

  • Yea Donald, This is off the subject matter, but I wanted to know how your 5ft cages for the tomatos worked out for you? Thanks Jay

  • @JBL3470 ... the 5 ft. cages worked much better. The plants still out grew the cages but held up the plants much longer than the shorter ones I was using before. They would also work much better for the cucumbers........Donald

  • dear sir can u send the design so i can have one done here, great one,

    regards

    srinivas

    srireddy7@yahoo.com

  • @rimma4 ... Thanks I'm glad they help....... Donald

  • Another great video. You have the cleanest garden.

    Ransom (Houston)

  • @ransom47 ... Hey Ransom, thanks and glad you enjoy the videos........Donald

  • I live in texas so i know about planting year around. What are you planting right now and when do you start your winter garden? What do you usually plant in your winter garden? Keep up the awesome videos

  • @911no ... I've started the first batch of broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and lettuce. Check out the calendar on the web site. Thanks........Donald

  • so basically its kicking up dirt around the stalks like you would do with a hoe? i mean if thats the fact then i guess it makes more sense to do it when the stalks are bigger right?

    anyways bub AMAZING looking fields

  • @palmerballer1 ... cultivating is removing any small grass and weeds that are coming up. Depending on the weather, corn is cultivated 1-2 times before lay by. Once it gets too tall it's on its own........Donald

  • On your website, you should have a "donate" section, cause I'm sure people would be willing

  • @FIyingPengwin ... there's a donate button on the home page. Thanks.......Donald

  • @connjamm19 ... cultivating is the process of removing / killing grass and weeds on the side of the row and in the middles. We don't get our first frost till in Nov. or Dec........Donald

  • Oops.. different type of weed I was thinking about.

  • @Sconz32 ... the type you were thinking about doesn't grow here. lol.......Donald

  • i am with you on weeding hate it........i see the corn about 6 or 8 " do you plant all year round . what is the weather like jan and feb

  • @pinetar100 ... I have something growing in the garden year round. Jan and Feb are usually wet and somewhat cold. Louisiana has mild winters........Donald

  • Great job done

  • @powerspade ... thanks........Donald

  • love all your toys sir. the right tools make everything about the job better.

  • @socalledjay1 ... those cultivators are on loan from Stevens Tractor, wish they were mine. Saving my nichols and dimes now..........Donald

  • @webcajun ...... And Pennies...

  • There you are driving your big tractor in a perfectly straight line with the blades just inches from the corn and I can't even WALK a straight line without the periodic (and expected) faceplant into a compost pile. :)

  • @Praxxus55712 ... did you notice how slow I was going? That way you don't take out too many plants before getting back straight. Holding the camera behind me while driving the tractor was the tricky part. lol.......Donald

  • I like your dogs, I love you videos. The music wow..... I love the Cajuns

  • @sakinehbs ... thanks and glad you enjoy.....Donald

  • Great job my friend, what do you do when the corn is taller than that? This year I just could not do any thing with the hoe so I got the weed-eater after those weeds and went to town, hey it worked.

  • @henrycems ... I always say whatever works is the way to do it. I would have never guessed I'd be picking peas and okra from a golf cart but hey it works.......Donald

  • Lucy had the right idea right from the start. Find a soft place in the cool shade a stretch out. Let the humans do all the work. Take care.

  • @treehot16 ... yes it was hot that day. I call her "knot head" but she's not dumb........Donald

  • Excelent job sir!

    Bobby B from Alabama

  • @xxwnetelxx ... Thanks Bobby. It's a nice tool to have.......Donald

  • Love the vid Don!!

Thumbs Up and some Money Love my Friend!!

  • @MadBadVoodo ... been dropping a little off to you as well.......Donald

  • @webcajun You are a good man... :)

  • That beats the heck out of hoeing the rows any old day!

  • @1DRock37167 ... still need the hoe in between the plants but the cultivators take care of the rest....... Donald

  • How often do you cultivate corn, or anything else,? Thank you.

  • @marieatthelake ... corn is usually twice before lay by. Other vegetables just depend on how much grass and weeds are growing. Lot of rain means lots of grass........Donald

  • great vid !!!, do you sell crops or just for home use ?

  • @therockkkkher ... mostly for home use........Donald

  • Nice video, Donald. This was my first year using a "hiller" and a cultivator is in the budget for next season. Thanks for the great info!

  • @72542 ... next to the tiller a row hipper and some type of cultivator are much have items in my book...... Donald
